Ok guys. Been saying it for a while taht our season was over abotu 3 weeks ago but no one listened and now finally ppl are understanding why. We dont have playmakers nor do we have a team that has the fire in their eyes. As simple as that. We ahve decent players, no one good or great other then 4 on D and maybe 3 on Off. Now this is what it is and how it is....
Howard - Can't cover an area or a defender.
Madison - Can't tackle for crap. looks scared when it comes to that. If you notcied, when Evans ran up the middle on a play madison was the closest and he didn't try to take him down or hit him rather strip the ball when he was the last man, luckily that attempt slowed him down enough for JT who was being SMUSHED by the T to come and STILL make the tackle.
CC - Not a gamebreaker/playmaker. Very inconsistent.
Gus - You need a QB that can carry a team on his shoulders and win you games and he is NOT capable of it. the 0-9 was what killed us and the 2 first downs up until the 8 min mark i believe in the 4th quarter.
Linehan - He is pass happy and can't use his best players nor does he know how to adjust or use what is affective. Too much pride wiht GUS and his Passing game.
Saban - Needs to take control of this team in every aspect from letting the unacceptable players/coaching staff go and he needs to start having a word if he doesnt already in teh play calling.
Off Line - Needs some improvement. I suggest a C and a LT with a good G should make this a very good Off line.
RW - sorry but too inconsistent and is making our team worse...you ask how? Simple, watch the spark of the game wiht RB in the game as oppose to RW. You see no spark on the field nor productive work. Had 1 good game since he came back. He is taking away RB good production and momentum. I rather have Morris in the game when RB is tired then RW and use him to complete a trade or a 4th rounder if possible 3rd.
Booker and Welker - Good and consistent. Nothing much to say.
McMike - Consistent but QB and play calling doesn't go his way often. QB always throws it behind him or overthrows him.
Lance - Cost us both of the TD passes to Winston? or whoever 84 was.
Secondary - Did very good as they nevre gave brady good looks except for Howard not defending his player well. Other then him, we seem ok.
DL - Need bigger NT/DT. Too many holes in the middle due to the C EATING up Zach again as he kamikaze's in there but the DT/NT isn't on the C so the C is open to stuff Zach like Mawae has his entire career.
Penalties - Improved in the past 3 games and a lot better and we can finally say we were thankful to get a penalty on the last play as it saved the INT he threw even tho i didnt understand how the penalty made sense.
BTW - RB - 2.6 ypc in the first 5 carries of the game after the 6th averages 5.6 i believe it was per carry. thats a sign and they said...better and stronger he gest as teh game goes on.
OVERAL - We got lucky to even lose in this fashion. They had no Dillon, no Graham, and another 17 players on the inactive list as we had 0! brady did over throw a few WR a few times which he woudl have completed any other day so we kinda got a break like we did wiht Plummer as he woudl have his WR drop passes in that game.
As far as QB - Whether Leinart is the man or not, there are NO other Qb in this draft. Cutler - inconsistent wiht accuracy and bad decision as he is a favre type QB that has a gun slingging mentality. Croyle? overthrown Wide open recievers deep and short or under thrown about 5-6 times in the last 2-3 games. Quinn prob staying. Young Staying. Vick may be comin out but who knows. So we are in trouble here. WR woudl like to pick one up such as TO or antoher WR liek reggie wayne as in this offense i doubt he would drop as many as CC has. Maybe if we dont get a chance for a QB in rd 1 we trade our picks for more picks as we have more holes. I believe Booker is our ONLY playmaker and I see our OFF as a bigger problem then our D cuz Frerrotes only 2nd decent game today and our D did a good job today so I have NO CLUE waht we need to do as it gets only harder as the games go on b/c certain weak spots improve as other good parts get worse. Not a consistent team and you can see it in our players, we dont have ANY championship type players. They dont have taht hunger/anger/and Attitude except for a couple maybe n' one notable one is JT and Seau when on the field. Was seau there btw? didn't see him once.
