You think with Nick Saban gone, we will go back to wearing the orange jerseys??? He was all about tradition and did away with the orange jerseys but I think Cameron is more of a modern age guy that wouldn't mind a little change here and there.

Prediction: We wear the jerseys December 2nd vs. the Jets (Im hoping they push the game time back so it will be a nationally televised).
 
IMO saban had nothing to do with the uniforms.... i think i remember him saying that... The orange may have been done away with...

Not sure what you mean by "nothing to do with the uniforms." As in he wanted nothing to do with them? I do recall him saying he was a traditionalist and would not use the orange alternates, but they were still our alternates last two years. That's why you could buy an orange brown and culpepper jersey.

nothing to do with... meaning it was out of his hands........ a reporter once asked him why they always where white and he played dumb. Some teams just wear white for home games, it wasnt a coach that decided the cowboys wear white at home... or the redskins.. I'd ask Joe Bailey.

they wear the white because the darker jersey attracts more heat in the summer/fall sun down there
 
My guess would be that we do not see the orange jerseys this season, but we will see the aqua jerseys at Washington, in London, possibly at Houston again, and if we have a December game that gets moved to NBC.

NOOOO, I HATE those ugly buc/donko looking things... they suck. If you want to be modern, wear pink.
 
I wish they brought back the navy alternates. Those were nice. Not for every game but one a year.

sure we always did that for the warm games but that doesnt explain why we stopped using aqua jerseys at home all together lately....

my guess is we stay with the all-white in most situations........ the numbers were only hard to identify on the white jerseys IMO..... they're fixing that.
 
Well, considering how often San Diego used those sweet baby blue jerseys I think Cam's ok with it. Not saying he had final say there, but I think he's seen the fans like them.

It goes like this, and has gone like this since the early 70's-

White for daytime home games, Aqua for prime time night games and late afternoon playoff games.
 
WELL I KNEW THAT WHEN I READ THE THE TITLE TO THIS THREAD I QUICKY CALLED VEGAS ON ODDS THAT CNC 66 WOULD OBJECT TO THE ORANGE JERSEYS.

why did i type with the caps on you ask ? well i am protesting , i am protesting the ladies loung , i am protesting political corectness but most of all I AM PROTESTING THE USE OF WHITE ON WHITE UNIS !

it brings back bad memories of nitwit saban. :tantrum:

While I like the aqua ones... It makes perfect sense why were white on white at home... so... its fine with me. The orange, I couldnt care less. Its just a silly marketing ploy. Cant we just worry about getting some wins this year instead of what color jersey's were gonna wear?
 
I do have great memories of the Fins wearing the orange jerseys.... I'd like to see them again at least once this year. Definitely did not like the all aqua uniforms.
