NFL.COM has a article stating the Chargers receiving corp of Keenan Allen, Travis Benjamin, Stevie, Johnson, Dontrelle Inman and Tyrell Williams is easily a top five receiving corp in the league. I think Landry, Sills, Parker and Carroo (with either Jakeem Grant or Matt Hazel), is the better unit. Am I just being too optimistic? Allen vs Landry/ Benjamin vs Stills/ Johnson vs Parker/ Inman vs Carroo. Miami could sweep the four match ups.

At this point, Parker vs Allen is a bit of a wash - Parker having the higher ceiling, Allen with more NFL production. Landry is better than any of their other WR's, but Ty Williams is freak athlete, and he flashed last season. Basically, unless Ty Williams becomes a star, Miami has the better group of WR's.

Keenan Allen is a monster. If dude didn't get hurt last year than he would've had an amazing year. He was on pace for stupid numbers.

That is one electric group of WRs in San Diego. They are going to cause nightmares for defensive coordinators all season.

Dolphins WR group has some potential for sure, but as it stands that SD unit is the more proven/better unit.

The issue with the Phins receiving core is a lot is based on potential...though, if the players pan out like we hope, I would not be surprised to see them in the top 5 next year.

The article you are referring to was referencing an article done in June in which the rank the top 4 WR units in the NFL....Miami was mentioned in the article as a team you could see rise into that grouping...San Diego was not mentioned, hence the article.

As has been stated before, the Phins have one of the youngest group of skill position players in the league. As such, it is difficult to handicap them until you see them play.
You are not biased. Many of the people here on FH have a better bead on this team than the national media. This WR group has the potential to be special.

I think our wrs have potential. We know what to expect from Landry. All of the other guys are unknowns. DVP has potential but will he stay healthy and progress in year 2. Can Stills and RT get on the same page? The other guys are rooks

We have one receiver that has proven anything...Landry. Parker has shown flashes, but we have to hope he stays healthy. Stills has not shown me anything special...you haven't even seen Carroo play a down at the pro level...Hazel is nothing special....Grant is only going to be good as a returner...

So, are the Chargers Top 5. That's highly questionable....are the better on paper than us right now? Yes.

I think if parker plays to expectations we have the better core, if he falters they win. Parker has huge potential, can't wait to see him play this year. The tannehill to parker connection is gonna be great I think. Parker looks big out on the field and has great ability to bring in those slightly off deep balls tannehill so often likes to throw. That's what tannehill has needed all along, watch the difference it makes this year, especially with Landry getting so much attention underneath. I'm so excited for this season to start!

San Diego wrs are more proven but on talent it's Miami, is that saying much no.

Wont matter for san diego just like it wont matter for miami if the oline play isnt better this year...most of san diegos issues there were attrition based miamis was just these players flat suck

The review knocking the Fins receivers in favor of SD's probably is a backhand to RT17.
I think the Gase version of the offense and RT17's new command of the offense, improved oline play will make the passing game very explosive and unstoppable.
Yea, SD is good, but we are just as good IMHO.

I expect us to have a dilemma this off-season about whether or not to pay Kenny Stills what his market value is going to be.

That's about all I can say.

I think you have to put SD wr corps ahead of ours right now. But I think that will change by the end of the year. I like our wr's but beyond Landry, they're unproven.

Keenan Allen is a monster. If dude didn't get hurt last year than he would've had an amazing year. He was on pace for stupid numbers.

He really is, I'm shocked that he is still so underestimated...good for me if I can snag him cheap in fantasy (but not likely)
