At the end of every season, no matter what the result, I'm always geeked for what we'll do in the offseason. I eagerly await FA, the draft, summer signings, camp, preseason, etc.

But this year, I'm in a panic waiting for stuff to happen. I know it'll be weeks before anything substantial happens and its driving me crazy! :goof:

-Who will we draft?
-Who will be the next QB? Who? Who?
-Will Sam restructure, or depart?
-Who will we sign? Who will we trade?
-Ahhhhh!!

I know when it's all said and done, we'll likely have done a lot before we kick off '06, but man I can't wait for us to make some moves!

Am I the only one?

we all are but the only thing that will happen this early is the hiring of coaches and I hope we sign Dom Capers as our DC

Yes, this would be quite the coup for us! One thing Capers does well is D!

And I think the activity on this board already gives me the answer to my question! I just can't friggen wait!

Are you the same guy who plays Madden 06, spends his entire time managing the team in the offseason, signing free agents, scouting, drafting rookies, resigning vets.....only to get to the regular season and simulate the entire season? LOL

No, actually. Haven't played Madden in years since college. I actually have a life outside fo FH :) (see avetar) , but I love my team and I always hate this "in-between" time of year. But this offseason, with all its potential, is making me impatient.

What's wrong with that?

I think a lot of us are waiting around for things to happen. I personally play madden online in leagues and it keeps me satisfied for the time being. Although it seems like no matter what league I'm in I never get the Dolphins.

I'm calling bull**** on that.

It isn't just you man. Hell, last offseason during the time when we could sign free agents, I'd log into Finheaven like 50 times a day just to see if we signed anyone. We're obsessed.

And that's a good thing :D

I'm with you. As far as I'm concerned the football season is over. Sure there are some teams still playing but, all I care about is what moves we are going to be making this offseason, not who is going to win some stupid over hyped football game in February.

Well....Seeing the Pats denied a 3rd straight championship is reason enough to still be interested. Go Donkeys!

Same here....even more than last year.

Exactly!!!

Although, like Csonka just said, seeing the Patsies denied will be enjoyable. I got an email from one of my company's Boston-area vendors late Friday that I just read this a.m. At the end, he talked of how he was rooting for a Patriots-Giants Superbowl, assuming I was a Giants fan or something. I responded by telling him I'd have to jump off a building if the Pats as much as make another SuperBowl.
