This is no disrespect to Torbor who I feel is making a strong case for more playing time BUT...
There were so many times where Thomas Jones ran for 4-6 yards a pop. He rushed for over 100 yards which as bad as our D has looked, has been consistently playing well against the run.
We needed Crowders presence in the middle. He's terrible in coverage but he is a great run stuffer.
Crowder is hated by a lot on this site and there is a lot to be desired but he does one thing, and one thing well.. stuff the run.

Thank you, everyone is clamoring for Torbor to start. In reality, you should be clamoring for Ayodele to start if you liked yesterday's game as he was the one who slid over to Crowder's spot. Torbor slid over to Ayodele's spot.

I dont know how much of a difference it would have made, but I think his presence yesterday would have definately helped.

channing is a good LB, he just needs to make a big play once in a while

I didn't miss Crowder because I watched Ayodele run past the play a few times instead. Neither one of those guys would start on any other team in the NFL in my opinion. I like them and think a guy like Ayodele is a good backup but for him to be starting should let everyone know where our D stands at this point. We will NEVER be dominant with those 2 starting on D. Just watch other teams with guys like Scott flying all over the field or last week it seemed Vilma was cloned. At least Torber comes up with a big play now and then. He had a big sack down the stretch. Watching Ayodele try and cover is painful and Crowder is a street fighter who just is out of position too often.

I paid special attention to this yesterday, and can tell you without an question in my mind that Torbor played better than I've seen Crowder (or Ayodele) play this year. He was in on many stops and always seemed to be in the right position. I can't count on both hands and feet how many times you see Crowder over-commit and leave big holes for opposing running backs. If Ferguson and company weren't so good up front, you'd see a lot more of just how bad Crowder is. I'd rate Crowder a C- at best in terms of playing his position. I don't know how good Torbor can be, but I hope he gets more PT.

If you dont think Crowder is missed in the run D you dont know how to watch football but at the same time our lanes for the te and rb were pretty covered this game.. Torbor made a few good tackles in the backfield that im sure crowder/ayodele wouldnt of made, conclusion I say put torbor next to channing next game mix of pass n run D lb

I know how to watch football, and better yet, I'm a great judge of when a guy's mouth is 10X bigger than his talent, and I hate watching a guy like that. That guy is Crowder. We won on the road against a great running team without him, and his replacement was in on a ton of plays. I'm not convinced Torbor is the long-term answer, but I'm convinced watching the Crowder-less Dolphins is a better deal overal. Honestly, Crowder should be JET - he acts like one.

THESE PEOPLE HAVE CROWDER RATED NEXT TO LAST IN ALL INSIDE LINEBACKERS OUT OF 53 RATED WHICH IS IRONIC CONSIDERING HIS NUMBER IS 52 AND THATS WHERE HE IS RATED#52

Crowder, whom people think is a great run stopper
is #247 in the NFL with 22 tackles...he averages 3.5 tackles a game...hardly enough to write home about...and his pass defense skills rival a quadriplegic

Torbor really had very few snaps. It was actually Ayodele that took Crowders place for the most part and Torbor played Ayodele's role. But for the few snaps he was in, Torbor got 7 tackles...4 solo...got one stop behind the line, another at the line, and one on the first play of the game for a 1-yard gain.

In one game with only partial playing time, he has 1/3 the tackles Crowder had after 6 games...hmmm...miss him...NOT AT ALL.
