seriously the guy is 34 years old, his legs are done, I don't care if he provides depth. If he does I want him as our 5th receiver. We are a rebuilding team and we need the guys at the play making position to get experience.

He is the last person we need on this team, we are rebuilding this season, we don't need old players like him. I want ted Ginn, hagan and bess to get their playing time.

Good old tuna will always have a place for his former players no matter if they still have it or they dont.

Heck I am surprised I did not see any conversations or Rumors about him going to talk to Bledsoe out of retirement.

Glenn will make our roster based on the fact that he passes his physical. I very seriously doubt that we're going to sign a player that is one hit away from the end of his career. Parcells and Co. just aren't that stupid. If he does end up in Miami, I'm sure he's healthy enough to play. Guys have to pass a conditioning test to even get back on the practice field, remember?

we need receivers. he's not my first choice, but a stop gap here and there won't kill anybody.

Yeah sometimes those good old physicals can be skewed if the FO wants the player here or not.

Even rebuilding teams needs players with experience to show the younger players the nuances of playing the game. The coaches can only do so much to teach the players what to do. If bringing in Glenn (provided he can pass his physical) can excellerate the learning process of Ginn and Hagan (Bess has not made the team, yet) then by all mean bring him in.

Stop gap is only good at QB, NT, MLB and may be safety. I just want to see the young guys get their turn and add next year's draft picks and bigtime young free agents to the mix.

Bledsoe doesn't like Parcells after the way he felt he was treated in Dallas the last time the two was together.

For example say he comes in Pushes Haggan down the the bench.

Next year he gets cut because he did not show anything this year and goes to another team and lights it up. All because Tuna wanted HIS PLAYER

Or Bess get cut to make room, thinking we can hide him on the PS. A team like Jax or Titians see this sign him to their active roster and guess what you lose out on what could be a steal. all cause TUNA wanted his washed up WR here.

no, stop gaps can be anywhere you need a position filled quickly for a relatively short amount of time. that's why teams pick up 34 year old receivers - for them to be a stop gap.

but i hear ya about the young guys - i want them to get their time too. i just want my qb's to have as much of a shot as possible even more.

Bringing in Glenn will not stop the young guys from getting their turn. We have a very inexperience group of receivers and Glenn could provide much needed experience and leadership at that position.

the'yre not gonna bring him in if he cant help the team.

Look IF tuna wants him here I am sure the DRs are a little less strict with their physical,

Just like IF a FO wants to release a player with INJ issues the Cant pass a physical is always used.

Do you not see when at times a team releases someone that cannot pass a physical all of the sudden a day later is signed by a team that he passes a physical for?
