Am I The Only One That Still Has Faith????

Faith? I have plenty of faith. I have faith that the O-line are a pack of scrubs who couldn't block against a good high-school team, and I have a ton of faith that our QBs are talentless hacks who don't belong in the NFL.

there is a difference between being a fan with hope and just being outright ridiculous.

we had 9 turnovers. NINE. the patriots lose their preseason games because they play their 3rd and 4th stringers extensively. We are losing our preseason games because we are playing like crap with our 1st and 2nd stringers. ALL of the points we have scored this preseason (through 3 games) have been during garbage time. How many first-half points do we have this year? 7? through 3 games? whether you game plan or not, you should still be able to put SOME points on the board.

I am a dolphins fan, but come on - we have played one more game than most teams here in the preseason and are DEAD LAST in the league right now in scoring.

at what point do you answer your wake up call?
We had ONE game where we had a bunch of fumbles, ONE FREAKIN GAME!!!! Have you noticed a fumbling problem at any point before this game??? Does this ONE game mean we are never going to be able to hang onto the ball??? Let me see........NO!!!!!!!!!! Like I said in another thread it would be like calling Peyton Manning or Tom Brady a bad QB because they threw 4 INT's. And by the way.......we have also played a lot of our 3rd and 4th stringers, and I seem to remember a LOT of improvement in our O-line in our second preseason game than what we showed in the hall of fame game. We moved the ball that game, just made a couple of mistakes. Now this game we do poorly and everything is out the window???? Gimme a freakin break

no. not after one game.

after 3 games. and each one has gotten worse.

you are supposed to display progression. improvement. advancement. we are going backwards, my friend.

the sky is not falling, but there is reason for despair.

After watching the first game I came away from it concerned about our secondary.Noticed a definent improvement in the second game.O-line seemed to do better at picking up stunt's and blitz's.I do not believe we have yet to see the opening day starter's together on offense.I believe this saturday night's game agianest Tampa we will get to see them together in the first half.Saban will have the boy's fired up for the First Home Game.Plus the added Fear of it being near cut time should make for a interesting game.

I still have faith, atleast enough to say we will improve over last year. Simply improving over last year at all would be nice, remember, we were one heck of a cap casualty, lost several good players. of course we have gotten our fair share too, but i think itll be 2 more full seasons before we are truly atop this division. this season wont be great, next season we draft a QB, there will be growing pains, and in the drafted QBs sophomore season we should be much better off, having atleast some of a season under his belt, i mean he cant be much worse then our two headed monster feelerotte. by that time our recievers will be in there primes, ronnie will be dominating, channing will be a pro bowler, roth will have a bunch of sacks, carey might actually show why we spent a first rounder on him, and with any luck, seth mckinney will have been cut, or traded to the bills for takeo spikes and nate clement!

unless you guys are red sox fans also, you cant fathom what it means to keep the faith...86 years guys...and we kept the faith all that time, this is nothing, well get there soon enough. dont jump ship to early

If anything the OP should CLEARLY see a difference between a playoff bound team (Steelers) and a team which will struggle to get 6 wins this year (Miami).

I have much faith...Its only preseason so we cant lose faith if our 2nd and third stringers are giving up points

I'm still not changing my opinion of our finishing record...8-8.

I've been saying that we'll win between 7 and 9 games since TC opened...I haven't changed that opinion.

IMO, our defense will once again be carrying most of the load but I do feel that the offense IS going to be better than last seasons.

I mean seriously is there anyone out there, Anyone at all who still thinks we could do well this season??? I swear it seems as though most of the Miami fans are Focusing ONLY on the negative things. When a part of our team does well It's........."Oh but we still have so many other holes", and when a part of our team does bad it's............ "We are the worst team in the NFL". I of course just don't see it, Sure we need some work, but there are still a LOT of positives that I see on this team right now. I wonder what they will all say when Miami is over .500 and pushing for a playoff spot

No, our D looked great. Our offese would have score at least 17 IMO if we hadent fumbled 7 times, we will be ok as long as our QB comes to play every sunday, no doubt in my mind. Im sticking to my guns 10-6 this year, GO PHINS.

There is time to get things corrected in the pre-season. ie, never put Travis Minus in at RB ever, never put Kendal Newson in as a returner, realize that Seth McKinney can not open holes against 3-4 defenses and let Randy McMichael know he isn't as good as he thinks he is.

I've said it a few times in other threads....

I still think we'll be pretty good, I think our defense will be stellar and sometimes dominant, I think our running game needs to carry the offense and I think if we get behind by 10 points in the 2nd half of games we are in deep trouble.

For years weve been so bulked up on defense, that its cloaked out feeble offense.
Sabans plan I would assume, is to map out this team, to see first hand, exactly what he, and his staff have to work with, in every aspect.

Doing so however, exposes the very weaknesses that for too long we've kept buried behind our defensive girth, and for awhile, Ricky's monumental talent.

Deficiencies that despite a superb draft, are being seen in the light of day, and frankly, I don't see how a balanced approach to overall improvement, could possibly occur in any other way.
