Am I the only person that actually liked Jay Fiedler. He wasnt great but he did have some great moments as a fin and in all honesty was a true baller. He played tough,he was able to handle being the guy after Dan Marino.

Now he wasnt talented but i think that Jay is a guy we should all remember. Undrafted, all doubters, Marinos heir but he perservered and played his heart out every down. There are guys like Jay who work hard and are smart but just dont have the talent to play at a higher level.

Way I see it. It was not jays fault he started all this time. He did what he could with whatever talent he had. He tried hard and put in the effort. Just to bad he didn't have the skills to be a great qb becuase he had the heart in my opinion. I never have blamed him more I blame wanny.

Now I am not saying I liked him as started because I didn't but like I said that was wanny's fault he started all that time.

Wannstedt and his boy Jay were the worst thing to ever happen to Dolphins football.

I hold no goodwill towards Jay Fiedler as a player.

You need look no further than to the # of teams that felt he was worthy of even competing for a starting job after leaving Miami, NONE.

You can't blame a man for giving it everything he had and doing his best with what God gave him.
You can blame a man for being afraid to upgrade the man who gives his all but just isn't good enough.

Yup

I liked him. If his arm was ten percent better, he would have been a Joe Montana.

no your not i actually really like him, he did have the highest winning percentage of all Qb's while he played i believe mainly b/c of our defense but yea.... i never thought he was a bad QB, He was good but not great

Yeah, he read defenses just like ole Joe could.

Sorry, I don't play popularity games.

Most of the failures I saw Jay have were based on him wanting to throw the right pass, but not being able to put it on the mark. Fans up here would watch and then cuss when he threw what we called a "Fiedler Ball", we all knew where he wanted to deliver it, it just sometimes didn't go there.

i was president of the jay feidler fan club win lose or otherwise the guy gave you everything he had every sunday. its not jays fault the line was horrible, its not jays fault wanny thought working hard was a blocking scheme. give the man his due like him or not all jay feidler did in miami was help the fins win

Weak arm, bad decisions, always hurt, liked turning the ball over at the worst possible time, limited our offense, horribly inaccurate when throwing the deep ball, threw passes poorly making it impossible for reciever to run after the catch and got his recievers decapitated when he threw the ball over the middle....

...but I did support him because of the jersey he wore.
