I am POSITIVE he won't be fired, which pleases me and maybe 2 or 3 other people on earth not related to Dave.

Just curious if anyone else shares my hope Dave stays.
 
I have a feeling Huizenga might share your opinion but only because the alternatives that are out there either will not be an upgrade or will be way overpriced due to the plethora of open positions that are/will be available.
 
Your not the only one, I as well believe he should
get another year. His contract is up next year.

After that lets see where things are.

He has earned it!
 
I am interested in the thought process behind the "Bring Dave Back" menatality,

I would love to hhear why you feel this way. I mean the team has digressed every year he has been here, he has no abiity to create on offense or to find quality talent. We have missed the playoffs two years in a row.

So I am curious about the reasons why?
 
Your not curious you just want to argue about it...

But here is my one and only reply to the regression logic.

It can't be called regression when the teams record is
an average of 1 win less a year.

Also...

It can't be called regression when they previously made the
playoff's only to be blown out!

Regression is when you reach the Superbowl or the
Conference games... Like the NY Giants did or the Carolina Panthers.

Regression is like the Altanta Falcons or the 49er's.

What is it then?

It is the result of the team "Overachieving for decades..."
It's the result of, low to mid round draft picks since the
undeafeted years.

It is the result of Shula's greatest achievement and the
orginazations as well... Hardly any losing seasons.

That's what it is logically!

I'm done, believe it or not, the choice is yours.

If they bring him back to finish out his contract then I hope at the very least Wayne H. strips him of all personel decisions and brings in a GM that can. At least it would show that he (Wayne H.) is aware of ONE of DWs faults.
But I kinda have the same feeling Wanny won't be canned.

If Wanny is retained, he will get another year added to that contract. Nobody wants a coach operating under the pretense that he is a lame duck.

I want him back as well. Unless we can get Fassel, I do not think there is much of an upgrade anywhere for this guy.
