I feel like when its time to make a thread, people try to pick someone to throw under the bus. I find myself doing this at times. Im a huge advacate of Beck but, I see myself throwing Henne under the bus in the process.
What about the running back situation? Ronnie injures his thumb and people say, "thats enough, get rid of him!" sure he gets injured often but, we should be sticking by our players. I understand not sticking by people like courtney bryan, or maybe cam worrell. I dont understand people not sticking by their starters, though. can we please stop the bashing? stop the he sucks, and we should trade him stuff.

we have been spoiled as dolphin fans. we have gotten the opportunity to have a great quarterback, undefeated season, and many superbowls. The problem for over the last 20 years is that are always looking for a quick fix. Its rebuilding time, and I think its about time. Lets enjoy the time we have with the likes of Ronnie, porter, Ricky, Will Allen, merling, langford, yeremiah, our new improved o-line, and our two chads! Its good to point out negatives but, there's a difference between constructive criticism and being a jacka$$

I think you'll find that if you look at the boards and forums of every team in the league that the same stuff is being said about their players by their fans. This over-the-top, crazy, knee-jerk hating on certain players goes on everywhere. It isn't the players. It's a kind of nut who vents the frustrations in their own life on people who have achieved something they never could even dream of. It's not about having an opinion. It's not about objective evaluation of a football player. It's about posing as a "knowlegeable football guy" by hating on some player or players. Miami fans are no different than other teams fans. A small percentage of very vocal fools hate everything the team does that they don't "approve" of and then cry that they have a right to their "opinion". They don't realize that their "opinion" is not formed by real information. Only by their perception of a small peek at the real situation. Usually these people are huge losers in real life (although they will claim to be huge winners on the internet) and they delight in the failure of someone like John Beck who they view as a loser because he hasn't measured up to "their expectations". The reality is that they sometimes hate on these players for reasons that they can't come right out and say.
Your last sentence says it all, but some people believe that being a Jack#ss is cool. It impresses their idiot friends and maybe they just don't know any better. I prefer to stay positive, trust the Trifecta (who know more than any of us, believe it or not) and see what happens. Disagreeing is fine, but doing with a mea-spirited attitude is childish and ignorant.

If all posts could be objective comments on the team, there wouldnt be any problems... but most of us on this board are very emotional about the Dolphins, and posts often reflect those emotions, which leads to heated discussions, and sometimes, personal attacks.

We may not agree on how to get there, but in the end, we all want the same thing -- the best Dolphins team possible. If everyone would keep that in mind before posting, it would make Finheaven an even better website.

hey there bro dont take the bashing personal its just human nature.i believe we need to always have something to say when with others even if it is negative.think of when you wee in grade school how many kids were victimis of that bully kid .then look at when you got a job wether it b someone we work with or even the boss,we nead someone or something to talk about.
with that said you have a 50 / 50 chance in life on what side of the fence you are on .is it the god side or is it going to be the bad side .as long as your a fins fan on this board i dont think you have anything to fear.now if you were a bills or jets fan well then i would be carefull when geting out of your car in the morning lol

Right now given my home/work situation I have to hit and run post. It leaves more of an impression to be negative. :D

I also think that things get aggravated when you have a team that hasn't been to playoffs in several years and has gone 3 out of the last 4 years with a losing record (more than ever in history of the team! It is a tribute to SHula as a coach tat, despite the last few years we still have the highest winning % since the merger)

I visit message boards for three reasons. One is to learn from the opinions of others. Posts of this nature are generally backed by facts and are usally well thought out and expressed. At times these posts have prompted me to re-evaluate my own position or to do further investigation.

The second reason I visit is for entertainment. Posts which I find amusing are opinions that are generally emotionally charged and the poster seems more intent staying entrenched in their position and proving the other posters "wrong or ignorant. (This is fine unless garnished with personal attacks.)

The third is to post my own opinions, which I do infrequently because either I do have enough information to back my opinion or do not have time to present a well thought out post.

I would guess that my posts at times have fallen into both categories.
