Am I the only one.....

It's the NFL and stranger things have happened. A solid win against the Jets up there might restore team confidence. Denver's not that good with Tebow starting so we could get a couple wins and be back in it. This is not the same defense we saw last year and it's basically the same people. This is the time to make a stand or fade into SFL territory ... if they are not there already.
 
I say die hard fans and SFLers unite with the fans that don't really care at this point and root to beat the fricking Jets.

After this game we can get back to talking about next years draft.

27-3 Jets. Lets keep it real people. It's their first home game in a month coming off three straight losses. They're going to make Matt Moore look silly. I hate for my first post to be so negative, but it is what it is.

Give me one week where I can watch Sportscenter without wanting to throw up. Give me one week of hope. How nice would it be to just demoralize the Jets? It's just too early to completely give up. Stranger things have happened. You just never know.....

Well, you see, we haven't had a franchise QB in a really long time. Our offense hasn't been feared in...over a decade. We haven't won a playoff game since 2001, and we haven't been to the super bowl in what?...27 years?

I'm tired of the mediocrity. How much longer are we going to play Wanny ball and expect anything other than crappy results? We have the perfect opportunity to get our guy, our franchise QB in Luck. If having a bad season is what it takes to finally turn this franchise around, then I'm all for it.

With that being said, I would love to beat the Jets in their house knocking them down to 2-4. That would be hilarious. However, if it comes down to beating the Jets (and getting a win that really means nothing long term), versus getting Luck and having the chance to beat the Jets for many years to come...I'm taking option number 2.
 
I would love to beat the jets and see the "superbowl champs" at 2-4..But,I would also like to see us get Luck aswell.So If we win awesome!,if we loose awesome (even though I'll be crying inside as it's a loss to the jets)

you know, i was actually thinking about this yesterday, as i have not been disappointed by the dolphins in 2 weeks due to the bye week.

here is why, as much as i would love to have some hope, i just cant barring a miracle.

right now, we are 0-4 with 4 conference losses. the absolute best we can go now is 12-4. to do so we would need to go on a 12 game win streak, which even the best of the best teams rarely do in a single season, let alone a team that lost its starting qb, and has all other sorts of issues. so thats not happening.

to go 11-5, we need to win 11 of our final 12 games. as i said above, that is even a hard feat for a great team to do in the nfl, so we basically have no shot at doing that.

that then leaves us at 10-6, and 10-6 and below with all the tiebreakers we will prob lose, and 10-6 prob not even being good enough to get into the playoffs even with tiebreakers, its just virtually impossible to even have the slightest bit of hope.

obviously i would love for this team to go 12-4 and all, but its so hard to envision that. we can watch every game and hope, but reality is, the way we are playing, it seems at most we will win is 4 games, and best case scenario is maybe we catch fire and go on a nice streak, but then fall short at like 8-9 wins, still very unlikely.

i would love andrew luck, but im not going to root against the fins to lose, because rooting has no barring. however, i just dont want us going 5-11 and winning enough games their to still be really bad but not bad enough for a franchise qb, but if that was the best case, id rather go 2-14 and secure the 1st overall pick.
 
Looking at the schedule, we can easily get back on track if we beat the jets. B
 
I don't want them to lose, it's just that if they do, I'll care less even more than I did when they lost to San Diego.
