Today, the Dolphins look like the best team in the division. They have a healthier and deeper offense than the Patriots and are much more explosive on D than the Jets. Admittedly the Jets and Defense was something I ever thought I'd say this year. But that team has been much stronger on D all season than anyone thought possible.

However, we can beat the teams in our division. Not only beat them, but beat them with relative ease if we play mistake free on offense and our defense remains as refreshed as it has been the last two games.

9-7 will definitely be good enough to make the playoffs. In fact, with the Pats swooning, 9-7 or 10-6 should win the division.

At first the Jets winning seemed very problematic. If the Pats had lost and it was a fluke, fine, but they aren't playing good football anymore. Brady had no protection and the world now knows, the only way Brady is effective is if he has the time to pick you apart. He doesn't have the athletic ability in the backfield or the receivers to make things up if the pocket breaks down. One caveat, the field was the worst I've seen anywhere all season. He could barely set himself without slipping whenever he dropped back.

Final question, can we win on the road?

I don't want to get to far ahead but with 4 of the next 7 at home and road games at Buffalo, Detroit, and Indy (Indy should be on cruise control by then) Miami really can run the table. It will be a bizarre way to end the season but they are playing well right now! Minnesota is definitely beatable, especially at home and then if they can win on Turkey Day they wil be 5-6 with 10 days to prepare for Jacksonville. Things are looking good, especially with the Pats being so vulnerable. Miami could finish 3-3 in the division if they win out. I am actually pumped again about DOLPHINS FOOTBALL!

We definitely should not look past Minnesota this week. We are not that good yet, but I love the improvement this team is displaying.

Mark my words....this game will be the toughest test for our offensive line this season.

Minnesota has the best run defense in the league. They are stout in the middle with Kevin Williams and Pat Williams. Nobody, and I mean NOBODY runs the ball well on this team, but hopefully we will be the first to do so. When the Dolphins aren't playing, I like to check the Vikes out because it's my dad's favorite team. The Vikes yield a sick 2.9 ypc. Our offensive line has to keep up the high intensity they've been showing the last two weeks. Hopefully, Ronnie's groin pull won't hinder him too much; they need to let him rest most of the week. Hopefully Jeno James' injury isn't too serious too. I know Jeno hasn't been performing well this year, but I don't want the chemistry of this line to be altered even in the slightest right now since they've been playing well together because we're going to need that chemistry for this matchup.

GO FINS!!!!!!!!!!!!

This has been our achilles heel this year IMO. We have continuously made mistake after mistake all year -- and at the worst times. It's just that now we've reduced them and the timing of the mistakes has not been as critical.

What worries me about the Vikes is their run defense is so good the only way to beat them is through the air like Pats did, and Joey just isn't throwing well enough to beat them strictly with the pass. Maybe, but I doubt it. Just hope we pull it out somehow.

i think after losing to buffalo and houston, this team will not overlook anyone and focus on the upcoming game only. we have a very focused, desiplined coach. lets go out and play them one at a time. right now we can beat anyone. hey, better late then never.

Cool your jets its a long way to go and we are 0-3 in the east.

One game at a time!!!!!!:dolphins: :dolphins:

The team that bullied the Bears and manhandled the Chiefs(the score didn't tell the tale, those guys were getting massacred in the trenches and it demoralized them) can beat any team in this here NFL. The question is, will we see that Miami Dolphin team for every Sunday from here on out? I like to think so.

Then dont!

Where did this team come from?? Seriously, this can't be the same Phinz that were just 1-6 a couple of weeks ago. They're playing lights out of defense, and the OL has now put together two very good games. We're now 3-6, and this team looks poised to make yet another mid/late season run of sorts. I know it's alittle early to be talking about any playoff hopes, but if we continue to play the way we are now, it could certainly happen....

This team is starting to gel, and the wins are showing that. The defense has especially been great. Even the secondary has done an admirable job recently, and that was one of our most glaring weaknesses coming into the season.....

I'm ecstatic right now, but only being 3-6, we've still got take it one game at a time for now. Still, hopefully this is a sign of things to come us....

PHINZ RULE!!!!

The offense is still a problem. We scored 13 points at home against a mediocre defense. Our D, however, played on a level that is very encouraging. We have an elite defense in this league. They were dominant. It's fair to say they're the best D in the division.

Im as excited as everyone else who posted.. and I always will side with caution. We need to be consistent, and avoid beating ourselves. But I like the confidence the team is showing right now. Bell is a monster at safety.. Im very encouraged... we click on a few more deep passes and we have a new ballgame,.... if Mare actually makes more kicks we'll sweat less..
But at least now I feel we can compete with any team in the league.. and thats all you can really ask for.
