Watching it today got me thinking why don't they bring this back? It was a good family friendly show, that tested every ones strength, and heart. Heck Mike and Mike could be the announcers. So basically I'm doing 2 things with this thread saying i want American Gladiators back, and 2 asking you guys who would you pick as the announcers? And even gladiators? What games would you want back?

I used to have the American Gladiators game on NES and I love watching AG on ESPN Classics... I was thinking the same thing the other day when I watched it. Mike and Mike would be perfect annoucers for it. If the show made a return, I would expect "non-roid" gladiators.
 
If you like American Gladiators, you NEED to see Ninja Warrior.

Ninja Warrior is on G4 every night at 6:00 and 10:30 EST.

With the attention in society on STEROIDS nowadays this show could NEVER come back
 
Want to know why Battle Dome didn't work? cause it wasn't american gladiators.

Ninja Warrior is at a whole 'nother level of athleticism. American Gladiators' eliminator is a JOKE compared to the obstacles of Ninja Warrior.

None of the contestants on American Gladiators would have been able to make it past the 1st stage of Ninja Warrior.
 
the show Ninja warrior is a joke....that super extreme show on Spike is better.
