An ATROCITY VS MARINO!!! READ!!!

I hope the MODS read this also. I was on NFL.COM the other day and looking through all of their historical info. Under a category called NFL is a pull down menue called " ALL DECADE TEAMS" So I thought I would check it out.

I was bored here at work, so pretty much looked at all of the decades to see the players. I got to the 70's and looked for some FINS... I clicked on the 80's and they had 2 QB there " Montana and Dan Fouts" Now I thought Dan Fouts was a great QB, I still thought it odd that he would make an all DECADE TEAM in the 80'S..

I figured I would see Mr Marino when I checked the 90's ALL DECADE TEAM and the 2 QB'S there were John Elway who I fully agree with and Bret Favre who is a GREAT QB also but.... No Marino? Are you telling me that the NFL doesn't feel Dan Marino was good enough to make one of their lousy ALL DECADE TEAMS?

Brett Favre over Dan Marino? No I can't accept that, BULLSH&&&&tt!!

Dan Fouts? What in gods name is wrong with these losers? IM Appauled at this and I will make sure I send their office a letter!!!

Dan Marino is not next to MONTANA in the 80s? Not next to Elway in the 90's?

Don't give me its because he didn't win a Superbowl crap either, because Fouts never made a SUPERBOWL!!!!

Dan Fouts couldnt carry Dan Marino's jock strap.....as to the QB's of the 90's...Elway and Favre have SB rings...that is the only reason they might be listed ahead of Dan....but Dan is still the best QB ever.
 
I'd take Favre over Marino. Favre can put up stats too but also does it in a much colder place, has SB ring, and is a great leader.

I would take Marino over Fouts, though.
 
Though I think you should calm down a bit, I agree that Dan should be there over Brett or Foutts.

1. Elway
2. Montana
3. Unitas
4 Marino.

Brett Favre over Marino? LOL!!! Favre was on the right team at the right time. And you can't bring Superbowl Rings into this. Barry Sanders or Emmit Smith?

This is an OUTRAGE! An ABSOLUTE OUTRAGE!! IM going to send email after email demanding they change Dan Fouts to Dan Marino. Maybe its just a mistake?

Dan doesn't get alot of respect just because he doesn't have a ring.

Uhhhh, Favre is from Mississippi, Marino is from Pittsburgh...a much colder place.

The fact that he didn't win a ring always factors into these things. Don't worry about it. Whether they rank him #1 or #30 we still know he was great.

I think the point was that Farve plays in Green Bay and Marino played in Miami. Not where they were born. :)
 
NFL.com isn't the only one who felt that way. Like I said, only one coach picked Marino to be the qb of their team in a show on NFL network. Shula. The rest either picked Montana, Brady or Elway.
