I come here in peace for sure but if there is some smack thrown around then so be it.
You guys had a great season last year and I know your expectations of this year must be very high for the whales (or is it dolphins? Hard to remember sometimes for me). Anyway whales or dolphins you guys are good. Real good, especially with the wild-cat. I haven't followed your pre-season games so I don't have a clue how things are going down there in Miami. I was wondering if the team can throw the ball too? If you can then we are in trouble because from what I have seen in our pre-season games we cant cover for sh**. At the same time we havent been doing any pass rushing so maybe it will be a long day for your QB. The key for you guys is to make that wild-cat work against one of the best run defenses in the league and I just don't see that happening. I also haven't had a chance to see much of Abe play this year because well he doesn't have to play in pre-season games so we just keep him healthy to sack QB's during the season. You do know who Abe is right? If not I'm sure your QB does and well you will find out next Sunday.
IF you guys can pass and protect your QB I see an easy victory for your team. The only thing that will change that is a simple question. Can you stop one of the most potent offenses in the NFL? I'm not talking about a pure passing offense but rather an offense that has it all. Top running game, top passing game, ROY QB (and only getting better). A 10 year pro bowl TE, a burner named Turner and an off-line that is just plain mean and nasty. Oops I almost forgot we have a no name player Roddy White that catches the ball too. Hes one of those guys that you don't hear much about that was in the top 5 in receiving last year and a prowboller of course that no one in the league can seam to cover.
Anyway like I said I did not come here to talk smack about the whales and am hoping for a great injury free game next Sunday. At the same time I know you guys are wanting the same thing. The whole key will be your passing offense. If its not there then it will be a long day for you guys so don't rely on the wild cat and tell your coaches to pass.
ATL 28
Phins 10
Ryan 16 0f 20 for 220
Turner 20+ carries for 135 yds. I cut this down because Turner only put up 220 in the season opener last year and I think it might have been a fluke, ha!
Abe 2 sacks
Team 5 sacks
Sound about right to you guys/gals?
