I come here in peace for sure but if there is some smack thrown around then so be it.

You guys had a great season last year and I know your expectations of this year must be very high for the whales (or is it dolphins? Hard to remember sometimes for me). Anyway whales or dolphins you guys are good. Real good, especially with the wild-cat. I haven't followed your pre-season games so I don't have a clue how things are going down there in Miami. I was wondering if the team can throw the ball too? If you can then we are in trouble because from what I have seen in our pre-season games we cant cover for sh**. At the same time we havent been doing any pass rushing so maybe it will be a long day for your QB. The key for you guys is to make that wild-cat work against one of the best run defenses in the league and I just don't see that happening. I also haven't had a chance to see much of Abe play this year because well he doesn't have to play in pre-season games so we just keep him healthy to sack QB's during the season. You do know who Abe is right? If not I'm sure your QB does and well you will find out next Sunday.

IF you guys can pass and protect your QB I see an easy victory for your team. The only thing that will change that is a simple question. Can you stop one of the most potent offenses in the NFL? I'm not talking about a pure passing offense but rather an offense that has it all. Top running game, top passing game, ROY QB (and only getting better). A 10 year pro bowl TE, a burner named Turner and an off-line that is just plain mean and nasty. Oops I almost forgot we have a no name player Roddy White that catches the ball too. Hes one of those guys that you don't hear much about that was in the top 5 in receiving last year and a prowboller of course that no one in the league can seam to cover.

Anyway like I said I did not come here to talk smack about the whales and am hoping for a great injury free game next Sunday. At the same time I know you guys are wanting the same thing. The whole key will be your passing offense. If its not there then it will be a long day for you guys so don't rely on the wild cat and tell your coaches to pass.

ATL 28
Phins 10

Ryan 16 0f 20 for 220
Turner 20+ carries for 135 yds. I cut this down because Turner only put up 220 in the season opener last year and I think it might have been a fluke, ha!
Abe 2 sacks
Team 5 sacks

Sound about right to you guys/gals?

Pigeons vs whales? I think I'll take the whales. :)

Wow, a legit fan coming in here. Hope no one attacks you man. But yes, I can agree. But I think the game will be a lot more close than 28-10, I honestly don't know who will come out with a win, but I'm pretty certain it will be a very close, hard fought game.

By the way, tell Matt Ryan to watch out for Sean Smith. Otherwise, well, just look at my avy.

I think that your offense being potent is right on the money. Dead on.

our Defense has a strong D Line and a much improved secondary. Our key to stopping u guys will be getting to Ryan and getting in his face as best we can.

The Reason why our wildcat and our Running game is key is to control the clock and keep your offense off of the field.

However,

the truth is our Passing game looks better than our running game beleive it or not. Pennington spreads the ball around and we have some nice schemes. So we can put up points. THe problem will be if we constantly have to play catch up b/c your offense just takes it down the field every time. I'll tell you mid way through the second quarter who i think will win. Remember that your D will have to practice and gameplan for the wildcat and that'll take time away from them gameplanning against our passing schemes out of the regular formations and that will hurt your secondary even more so i wouldnt say that the game will be so far apart just yet...

Come in peace my ***. 1 star.

your defense couldn't hold a pop warner team to 10 points...lol

you'll be leaving soon enough with your tail between your legs, don't get to comfortable here. 16-20 for 220 lol. your defense couldn't sack a pee wee team 5 times in one game. the only one who is worth worry is tony g.

First off the Whales? How old are you 5?...OK I understand you are a Falcons fan which is fine but what do you expect from us when you come into our forum? You think anyone is going to agree with your prediction? Your just wasting your time with pointing out your big names on the roster and the outcome of the game. You can lurk all you want but posting this useless thread is a joke....K thanks bye

we also have two very good pass rushers you might of heard of jason taylor the leading sack master as we speak and joey porter who only had 17.5 sacks last year it's going to be a close game. miami takes it 28-21 matt ryan has not seen pressure like he is going to see week one we will welcome him to the nfl i promise you that!!!!

Thanks for an honest headsup. If Chad and your passing scheme gets rolling then we are in trouble.. and I defiantely can see you guys winning this game. Your also right in that we will have to get very prepaired for the wild cat. I just hope we dont over prepair and forget that we have a great run stopping offense and totally forget that we need HELP in the secondary or its going to be a very long day for us and I will be turning the tv off come the 4th quarter lol.

I hope we have just been taking it easy during pre-season man but I tell you this our secondary really sucks from what I have seen so far this year. I think we are the better team here and should win this game. At the same time if we dont its going to be because of everything negative I've mentioned before. I will gladly come here and eat my crow.

In all honestly I hope that both teams, yours and ours will continue to improve as we both have real good teams that are ready to take it to the next lvl. I dont mind at all wanting your team to do well this season, just not next Sunday win you come to the dome. Who knows and I'm sure you would agree that WE both want our teams to go to the SB this year and one of them might just be there.

Our schedule is BRUTAL. Hows yours? I dont see us winning 11 games this year but maybe 10. Our deffensive secondary truly is so bad that I might start remembering them in my prayers at night lol.

Anyway I'm going to hold true to my 28 to 10 prediction and pray that things go our way.

You guys are great and I can say that only because your in the AFC. lol

Your fans have class unlike many on some boards (including ours) Dont go over to the carolina forum before you guys play them. (well you will see) they think their team is Gods Gift and yet I only see them getting worse and worse. They WILL NOT make the playoffs this year. It will be us or the saints or both.

I will write more if I c something to reply to.

GB and heres to a Great game a week from now.

hahaha funny post and it's good to see Falcons fans with a sense of humor...your team is great offensively no doubt; and we'll see about your run defense. I think the key for the phins is going to be a simple one word answer that I see they have had trouble with on D....TACKLING...you have to wrap up, if one guy can't bring him down, wrap up, slow him down and are D will swarm and help, but no arm tackling...it should be a simple fix but never is; especially early on. if we can tackle effectively then I can honestly see them holding Burner Turner to under 100 yds but a definite score. I'm sure the trio will throw a wrinkle or two at your defense to see how they handle it and if they fall like a house of cards; expect a heavy dose of wildcat...our 3rd WR or whoever is in the slot is going to have a good day for us...just watch and see...final prediction for me is Atlanta 24 PHINS 27

Kind of stupid to admit you don't know anything about the other team then predict you'll win by 18. Compare our passing numbers to your passing numbers from '08. Also, how did Turner do against good defenses last season? Wait, I remember. I was smart enough to pick him up in the 4th round of my fantasy draft. He didn't do well AT ALL against good defenses.

As for your season outlook, I don't see you being as good as the Saints or the Panthers. Your O isn't as good as the Saints, and your D is even worse. Good luck on getting that ever elusive 2nd straight winning season.
