go check out how much better Pennington has been this year in every aspect of being a quarterback this year, compared to that guy who kicked him out of town and into our destiny!

This is a good website with talented writing fans like we have here.....so check it out: www.thephinsider.com

Thats excellent and SO HILLARIOUS!!!!!

The NOODLE OWNS FAVRE!!!!!!!!!! :woot:

WV those stats blew Favreau out of the water....typical Jest fashion they get rid of gold for platinum plated tin! Hey, when are they going to release Lavernious Coles for someone else.....I'd sure love him catching passes again from Pennington!

WOW...thank you for the link. The stats are unreal to me. Everyone as been talking about Favreerreererre (or whatever!) as being the MVP and finally Penny is getting some attention!

While it's true that Pennington is having the better season in terms of these stats, it's fairly clear that Favre's numbers are pretty good as well.

If anything, this was a win/win situation for both teams in that both have bounced back from losing seasons thanks in part to quarterback play.

That said, it definitely seems like Pennington has made more of an impact on the Dolphins than Favre has on the Jets.

HELL YEAH!!!!

Especially impressive are those numbers for each on throws of 21+ yards.

The stats are close and I Favre would have the edge if it weren't for turnovers but his 25 turnovers to Pennington's 8 is a HUGE difference and gives a big time advantage to Penny.

Favre may be having a pretty good season, but the fact remains that the Jets gave up a draft pick to get a (slightly) less productive QB.

Go Jets! :sidelol:

Think of like this....they could be sitting there with a QB that's just as good plus they would have an extra draft pick.....AND they wouldn't have to worry about the 8-5 Dolphins ruining their season.

Again....Way to go Jets!

As a Dolphins fan, it awesome to have Pennington here with better stats and equal wins so far. But Favre did help sell a ton of tickets and helped New York garnish a lot more national sports coverage. Further, they sold more merchandise and will enjoy more media coverage as Favre contemplates retirement. The Dolphins clearly won.

I believe those are just fumbles...not fumbles lost

but still, big difference between the two in turnovers

True. In the end...this is a business, and teams will do anything to make money.

I know of at least 6 Packers fans that are rooting for the Jets this year because of Favre. (I live in south dakota. The most popular teams here are Vikes, Packers, Bears - in that order). A couple of them even bought his Jets jersey.

All the more reason for me to want the Jets to crash and burn. Get to shove it in the faces of TWO fan bases.....

I hear about him all the time. The fact that Packer fans think Favre is one of the 5 best QBs ever. Give me a break. I can think of 4 that are better than him that played at least 5 common years (Marino, Elway, Brady, Manning). OMG I hate Brett Favre.....

If they weren't such losers , they could have got a draft pick from the vikings IMO.We probably would have 3 or 4 wins at best
