"To watch this team grow and be part of it has been special," Williams said. "We've made strides, and we can be confident that we can go into next season strong."

It looks like he plans on staying here next year, so I wouldnt expect any trades or sudden retirements.

Good, the more good players we have an our roster the better. I can honestly say that i'm proud to have been able to see the dolphins make amazing progress throughout the season.

Ricky has been awesome. You can tell by the players interviews that they want to be around somethinig great thats going on here in Miami. And I'm loving it! :D

It only means a lot from the standpoint that he's not going to smoke off into the sunset again. In the end, the only decision that matters is the one made by Saban, Mueller, and Huizenga. And if Al Davis offers a first-day pick, especially a 1st or 2nd rounder, he's gone, and it's as simple as that.

That said, Brown and Williams seem to jive together, and Ricky today proved he can still be a feature back. They've used the tandem much better lately than when Ricky first game back (obviously, since we were 1-4 in his first games and are now 5-0 since).

Then again 1-2 weeks before his leave from the team he was standing up in meetings talking about coming together as a team and being a leader and all that stuff

It's getting ral annoying and straight up dumbfounding to continue to read/hear people say ont his site, or others, any SINGLE SORT OF INFO relating Al Davis/Raiders/picks for Ricky Williams!!

WTF...They just dropped millions on LaMont Jordan and he will continue to be their main back, it's not his fault Norv used him improperly. Which BTW, I am sure Norv is gone this offseason. Second, there are ZERO sources that even promotoe the idea of RW going there beside the one answer to a question, a year ago after RWs retirement, when he was bitter about Miami and Wannstedt.

Exactly, I love Ricky, but I just cannot get this though out of the back of my mind

I'll tell you what. with the streak we have put together, on top of another draft, free agency, and growth from our youth, the media is going to love the Dolphins as a favorite pre-season pick. the only questions will be at QB.

Whoa, you just said 'standpoint'. , Sorry, but that brought back some crazy moustache-bearing memories.

Something else that we havent been hearing before this year is our own players saying they want to stay, and likeing our scheme and intensity. The qb position is a BIG if though.

It's just an example.
