An O-line worse than ours

I tell you what I think Bulger is the most accurate passer in the league. That guy throws an awesome pass.

St. Louis is going to be a very good team this season. If there defense can hold opponents under 24 pts, they're gonna be very tough to beat. Stephen Jackson looked good, Holt/Bruce, are very underrated, and I couldn't believe my eyes when I seen Martz using a fb.

i feel for harrington...for 2 years he has no weapons...this year he gets weapons and his o-line is crumbling....i dunno bout ya'all but id love joey in aqua and orange next year

You should have seen the buffalo bills the other night. God awful. JT and co. are going to have a field day on Mike Gandy and Mike Williams (LT who has played RT from day one).

Gandy has done very good.

Both guys you mentioned have not allowed a sack in the preseason.

They held their own against the Bears Pass rush. Losman just needs to throw the football.

Our run blocking wasnt that great early vs the Bears. A lot was FB's, TE's, And WR's missing blocks, as well as Trey Teague having a bad game vs Urlacher. They did better in the 3rd, Willis broke some runs.

why are you guys hating on the Lions? They certainly have more talent then we have right now... don't agree with me? we'll see who ends up with what records at the end of the year.

A drunken driver who killed someone...sorry and I know this is the wrong forum for this but he is THE biggest piece of crap in the entire league...it is not even close.
Exactly! Thank you. I went to the Rams - Dolphins game last year just to carry a sign in that read "Little is a Murderer".... that is what he is to me, PERIOD! I yelled it at him all day, obviously of no worry to him, but made me feel good.

Yeah right...after seeing their O'line play tonight, I definitely think we'll have a better record than them. Our defense will keep us in a lot more games easily. Plus you should always root for the Phins. Be a true fan!

OK.

Mike Williams is running second team for God sake, talk about a horrible pick. The guy should have gone to a team who needs a #1 WR, but Moron Millen chooses a player that will not improve an immediate need and will have to share with 2 other #1's  Their o-line sucks, Carlos Rogers can't catch a ball over the middle because he is gun shy..and Harrington can't be consistant. Their defense...well, we'll stop there.

I don't think I have ever heard you post anything positive. Are you a relative of Debbie Downer?

If you guys think the Lions OL sucks, it just proves you dont need Big Names or high picks to have a good OL.

I didnt watch the game, so i cant comment.

what? i DO root for the phins, they are my team. that doesn't mean i won't deny talent when i see it.

you guys above everyone else should know you can't judge a team by ONE game. Did any of you watch their game two weeks ago? Harrington had a 100% comp. percentage, and Jones ran pretty well. Apparently their O-line tonight just wasn't feeling it. doesn't mean they suck.

Our running game sucked our first two preseason games. would it be fair for another team's fan to say our running game is going to suck this year based on those games? nope.

Bills4life - i heard what you said, and it makes sense.

Did anyone catch the footage of the Detriot Lions line blocking (or lack thereof) for Harrington? Those guys are horrible. Maybe it's me, but I don't remember the Rams having a strong defensive front. In fact, I've don't remember the Rams having a defensive anything. So when you think about how bad our O-line is, just think that they could be worse.

How did I know you were talking about Detroit. Wow that was bad. And besides, he shouldnt' have dropped back for 6 steps like he was in the 1st quarter.

actually it proves that high picks and big names don't always turn out great... but that's kinda what you said :)

the mike williams pick wasn't the best choice, but they picked BPA. they had no WR to complement roy williams anyway. i am not going to defend all the team's moves, as i don't care nor do i follow them. I just can't understand why you guys will watch ONE game by a team and make an immediate judgement on the team based on that ONE game, but then when others do that about us, you guys are all up in arms about it.

I have posted many positive things, its just when positive things happen not much needs to be said that hasn't already been said. the fans here get pretty excited, no reason to add to the chaos. However, sometimes that excitement needs to be tempered with reality (like the Roth INT, which people overreacted over.) I am not a negative person on the dolphins - i am a hardcore fan that displays phins plates on my cars and even has huge dolphin magnets on my doors of my cars. i'm just not overly optimistic. I'm tempered enthusiasm.

Funny you should mention Bulger. Last night our power was finally restored but not the cable TV. So I pulled out some old game tapes and settled on Miami/West Virginia at Morgantown in the very late '90s. There was NFL talent all over the field; Edgerrin James, Reggie Wayne, Amos Zeroque, Dan Morgan, Bubba Franks, just to name a few.

Anyway, the West Virginia QB was Marc Bulger. I'm sitting here post-midnight last night and wondering how the heck he slid so far in the draft. At the point I stopped watching he was 18 for 23 against the Canes with decisive decision making and dart passes. The only time he looked bad was when Ed Reed baited him then stepped in front for an INT. But that's Ed Reed, then and now.
