The offseason is a hard time. No games, so much speculation and anxiety. I decided we could add a little bit of fun to the off season and as if there wasn't already enough disagreements. So here's the game, Who Can Guess the Starting Line-Up for 2008?
What fun is a game without prizes right? Ok well I haven't decided between a signed pair of game worn Ronnie Brown gloves or a signed authentic Mark Duper jersey. Those aren't bad prizes right? Ok so here are the rules...

1. All submissions must be in before the day of the draft. The night before is a reasonable time to do it...
2. Each starter that is on the current roster is worth 1 point, each player that is picked up in the free agency is worth 5 points, each player that is traded to us is worth 10 points and drafted players are 15.
3. Only one submission per person. When you write your line-up, you can't change it. Don't try to edit the post...
4. I suggest not making it the most extravagant line-up. You'd be better off with a more realistic line-up. (Ex. Bad Idea- Chad Johnson, Roy Williams, Tom Brady.... Not gonna happen. Good idea- Chad Johnson, Ted Ginn, John Beck)

Format:
QB- Name
WR- Name, Name, Name, Name
RB- Name, Name
And so on for all positions...

The winner will be decided in September so we got a while.

I suggest not jumping to a conclusion at once. You may want to speculate a little with news and such. Just don't wait too long, the draft may come sooner than you expect. :hi5:

Any Questions... Message me or write them here.
Also... You can state the preference in here wether you want the Duper or Ronnie Brown prize and I'll decide based on popular consensus before the Draft.

QB-Chad Pennington, John Beck, Joe Flacco.

RB-Ronnie Brown, Lorenzo Booker, Ricky Williams

WR-Ted Ginn, Derek Hagan, Marcus Monk, Greg Camrillo

TE-Justin Peele, Brad Cottam

OL-Carl Nicks, Mike Wahle, Samson Satele, Rex Hadnot, Vernon Carey

I'll send my defense later.

I dont even like mine that much. I have to think about it more, and coordinate who is drafted where. When you do something like this, and try and make it realistic, you really realize how many needs we have!

See sig. :D

I like that sig, although I dont think we are getting chad johnson. I dont see how Cincy can trade him. He count 8 million against the cap this year and he just signed a 4 year extension last year. The rest of your lineup i like

The mods should post this in the section above the normal threads so it doesnt get lost in the depths :D

Why not? If I can't edit my post, I'd be somewhat stupid to post the line-up now instead of waiting for the free agency to begin. Everyone posting theirs now probably stand no chance of winning compared to those who post them after the free agency is over, so that kind of defies the whole point.

Why not let everyone edit as they see fit until the deadline? That way, you keep the thread alive and give everyone the same chance.
