An open message to FH:

Thank you for making this season so enjoyable through the ups and downs. I've looked forward to checking this site every morning throughout this entire season to get some insight on an upcoming game or to get an evaluation on a previous game (from a more reputable poster that was less drunk than me). For every troll on this site, there is 10 great posters that make this site hands down my favorite football site to visit. There are far many too good posters here to name, but coming on this site is far more enjoyable than the dopey football conversations I have with my family

Its a horrible way to end the year and I imagine the site will be dead for a while. I really hope we can get pumped up in the offseason & get some positive changes for our team. I feel the pain that most of you are feeling now & all I can say is I think this will work out for the best in the long run. There is reason for us to be optimistic (despite a HORRIFIC ending). I still think there is a light at the end of the tunnel for the core of this franchise. Lets hope we get a few changes in the offseason that can reignite the excitement we had prior to this season.

I like your message, but "real fans" seems to be a backhanded comment to people who disagree with you.

I was referring to the few trolls throughout the year that have made ridiculous threads on this site. Getting angry at this team is more than acceptable, its expected. A lot of us have made statements out of anger that we later retracted or backtracked to some degree. I don't care for everyone to agree for me, but the dig was on the few obvious trolls we have on this site that aggravated us week in and out.

Anyone who takes the time to visit this site, post their thoughts, celebrate wins, vent about losses....is a real fan.

I wasn't insulting anyone with an opposing viewpoint, just the few trolls we had throughout the year. I updated the thread title to make it more clear.
