An opportunity to fill our two biggest gaps now.

Im by no means an expert but now that we have our no. 2 rd pick again why not do the following....

1. Trade our 2nd rd pick to the colts for edge (they said they'd take a 2nd rd for him)

2. Use our 1st rd pick on preferably a qb if not braylon edwards.

I realize edge is old but it seems to me he'd be a better investment than anything else available in rd 2.

yeah! get edge! wooo! that would be the best possible scenario, and if we trade our two pick for two # 1s we may be able to take a WR like mike williams and a QB like jason campbell, WOW! what a team wed have huh?

it contradicts itself to get edge and a rookie QB... getting edge is sacraficing your future to win now, while drafting a QB is sacraficing now to win later...

not only would we **** up our cap getting edge, but wed have a declining RB who prob wont be effective in 3 more seasons...

I take it you forgot that we have the cap to worry about. James will cost a lot of $$$

Prefer not to get Edge or Alexander. Don't want the cap hit, are quality picks in the draft and would rather start picking and developing our own guys.

No chance those are our biggest gaps. LB, S and O-line are the gaps

We just traded Surtain because of cap problems -- we can't turn around and trade the pick for another cap problem.
