An option we may not have thought of...

Maybe he's actually just a mediocre QB that we acquired to get rid of A.J. Feeley's cap hit this year....

Who really knows, i know 1 thing saban and mueller will have other options than lemon. We will not rely on lemon to be a starter, but if he developes into 1... all the better.

lemon has some talent, there's no lieing there. Shottenheimer was not happy when he found out that lemon was traded away. Usually head coaches wouldn't even have noticed a 3rd string qb is gone, shottenheimer was pissed the very second he found out.
If lemon isn't talented, then i don't know why shottenheimer cared so much.

I think you could be right here but i still see nick trading up in the draft because he is here for the long hall and he knows its time to stop bringing in other quarterbacks that other teams dont want.

Maybe Saban and Mueller are really in love with Lemon. We maybe don't take a qb until late if even at all. Maybe all this QB talk is another saban smoke-screen.

Starting QB 2006 #17 Cleo Lemon

Now THAT is a far-fetched idea!

And maybe that's why he didn't even sniff the playing field last year, for fear he would let Saban's secret out of the bag.

I would be really worried if this was our fall back option. The only reason he is here in Miami is because he was a default selection in the process of ridding the team of the last and final evidence of an inept front office. The departure of AJ and the subsequent acquisition of Cleo was just a living body to complete the transaction.

I would roll over and die if Cleo is our hope for stability at the QB position.

that was the best answer i've heard in a while!!!! your right on the $$$$$on that one.

Even if they love Lemon, they're not stupid enough to not have any insurance on him as a starter.

Lemon may have some talent, but Shottenheimer wasn't mad just because
Lemon was traded, he was pissed because the GM pulled off the trade
without ever notifing him. From my understanding, Shottenhheimer found out
about the trade through the media. I'd be pissed to.
