Hey guys,

I just wanted to ask how the two different lines match up.

First:

How does our D-Line match with their O-Line? Any notable stars on their line? I have heard about their schemes... and I know Denver has always had a great line - they churn out 1,000 yards backs like nothing.

I think we will see Saban do some tricks.. interesting little schemes, etc.
I think Carter will have a great outing, and lets see how our DT's match up.

Second:

Our maligned O-Line... Do you think we have a shot at establishing a run game? How is Denvers D-Line?

Hopefully, our O-Line can establish some consistency and not commit idiotic errors.

-------

Misc:

Both QBs suck... Frerrote sucks a little more then Plummer.
Our WR's are great, how about theirs?

Our Secondary ... ehh hopefully will be consistent..
They have Champ (was he slightly injured?).

Well, the O-Line and D-Line will determine this game.
Can we ease our qb by running on Denver. And similarly, can we stop their rushing attack? Force Plummer to throw on us... and hopefully pick one or two off.

I think we have a realistic shot at this game; it all rests on the lines.
Go Fins!

well, i dont know enough to break it down player by player, but...

the broncos have one of the best O-Lines in the NFL. and nomatter how good you think this new D-Line is, the fins wont be able to keep them under 100 yards rushing.

they have some good linebackers and secondary people. so it will be up to your new offensive co. to get the job done. i think yall will blitz LBs, S, and Cbs all day, trying to get pressure. so watch for the screen ;) .

as for your O-Line, ive said it 100 times, but... its improved, but still a problem. OT, OG, C are all problems. i think the broncos will get a lot of presure on gus.

as for WR, yours arnt to bad. but champ should be able to limit chambers a bit, unless yall motion him in to the slot. their WR will have a field day. if jake has time, his WRs will get open for big gains.

IMO this is simply the smartest poster on this site :) Couple of things

I think Denver will start with 2 TE and try to establish the run (which they will do). The Oline is a strong point of our team. The only thing that scares me is the Oline depth is horrible! The Dline to be honest this Bronco fan is gonna take a wait and see approch but have been more then happy thru the preseason. They have constantly gotten great pressure in every game. The Broncos rotate Dlineman on a very regular basis inorder to keep them fresh. The startine DE's are AWESOME but one (Brown) is a walking injury and Pryce is coming back from back surgery so Im holding my breath.

The colts had some success by using bunched WR formations forcing DJ Williams out of the box helping open up some running lanes. If Sabin follows that plan (which I would) I expect the Dolphins to come out in mulit WR formations and spread the field early.

Unfortunatly their is really only one known variable...Denver O-Line is very good the rest of it we are going to find out sunday. My personal evaluation..I dont like the players the Broncos have built the D-line with and I think that might help our O-line a bit and I think our interior D-line has better starters than last year but we are very thin. I should be interesting for both sides to see what happens.

OT is not a problem. Center is another matter
