there's no time to waste. If he's the first one to interview then there's a pretty good chance McDaniel has already talked to him over the phone as a possible candidate

who? Great. An ex rb and qb coach leading the offense. Bad enough McDaniel did not call the plays.

I suspect whomever he hires, unless a bonefide offensive maven, will provide offensive input and coordination, ala Eric Bienemy

I am probably not happy with this but then I think back at all the failures this team has had why the hell not let it play out and may be the boy wonder will find lightning in a bottle.
