The Ravens are 1-5 on the road....and of course we had to be that only win. They now face the Bengals and Lions on the road and also the Vikings and Patriots at home.

It's very possible that Pats beat them at home (have to root for them), and the Lions and Bengals beat them when they go on the road. Could finish a record of 7-9.

If we don't make it into the playoffs because of a penalty on the last kick of the game that went uncalled and all we got was a letter.... Although it shouldn't have because this team has had so many chances to prove itself and close on a team and couldn't (4 pt loss, 3 pt loss, and 2 2 pt losses....not to mention that Pats screw up).

Team coulda been 10-2 but our coaches always fail to close a game.

Here's to hoping the Ravens blow it (which they will) and we finally are able to win games we should.

And yes...I know the Steelers are the most important thing. Beat them the Jets and Bills and I'd say we're in.

Honestly, I'm less concerned about the Ravens and more concerned about us. We've literally been in this position every year since the Jeff Ireland era began.

And they our only competition if we win out. Once you lose a game, it can potentially throw a bunch of teams back in it.

We just gotta beat Pittsburgh man, I'll be more excited if we make that happen.
 
gotta win 3 of the next 4 and got a good shot...split and i think we done...tough road game for us coming this week...qb must be on it

This. Who knows how we'll actually show up for these games. With embarrassing losses to Tampa and Buffalo, im much more concerned about us.
 
Let's get through Pittsburgh. Honestly, I think if we go .500 we are in a good spot, because I don't think Baltimore can beat Detroit, New England, or Cincy, but that's obviously not what I'm hoping for. If we play the Jests, Bills, and Steelers as hard as we played this week, we should get in.
 
i think it all comes down to this weeks game in pitt

win and we will get in, lose, and it will take a ravens collapse.

if we lost and balt wins, balt would be 1 game overall ahead plus the tiebreaker so essentially 2 games ahead.

that would leave 3 games left.

to the ppl saying '' balt sched is tough'', well on paper it seems that way, but balt usually plays up to its competition.

also, they r getting dennis pitta back which will help there offense in a big way.

gotta win this week, or then we r chasing not 1 but 2 teams
 
We will beat pittsburg at pittsburg. If the game was at Miami I would be concerned.
 
I think Pittsburgh would have a little something to say about that...
 
I feel very good about our chances. Reason is, I sincerely believe we are BETTER then most teams we have played thus far. Most of the games we lost were ours for the taking but with a few bone headed play calls and penalties we have nothing to show for those losses. But As I see us improving each week in many areas (pass/rush protection, less penalties, Tanny learning to buy time by rolling out or tucking and running, wallace catching more passes etc...). I truly believe we can easily take these next 4 games.

Defense has been outstanding and highly overlooked but I have noticed them. Only thing we really need to work on is.....Sturgis making his field goals, Better play calling in the Redzone and not getting conservative when we have a lead. If we can fix just those things right now we're in guys!
 
There is also the possibility that KC collapses down the stretch.

They have 3 of 4 on the road and their one home games is against the Colts.

If we win out and the Chiefs lose 3 of 4 we would win the tiebreaker against them.

Low chance possibility but still a chance.
 
Not going to get my hopes up, been here a lot lately and never seems to work out. Going to try something new.
 
Don't count out a Cincinatti collapse either...They could go 1-3 down the stretch.
I agree beat Pitt and we are in good shape. lose, and it will be tough. We actually needed SD to win yesterday. A 3 way tie with us SD and Balt, we get in I think..
 
Steelers Oline is pretty banged up + Our Dline is dominant right now = Lot of pressure on Big Ben, Our secondary is playing lights out 2 words Brent Grimes and everybody else has been stepping up (Carroll, Clemons, Jones, Ellerby). So for Miami, defensively I'm not too worried. if only we can run a consistent, good play selected offense we'll take that game.
