And the final playoff spot goes to.........

IF, IF, IF Pit beats the Ravens Thursday and Miami beats the Jets and Steelers, I think Miami would win the wild card.

The Chargers defense is so bad I do not think they can get through.

I've seen this movie before. we do just enough to get in after the first wave of games on the last week of the regular season, and by the tiem the last wave of after noon games over, we find ourselves eliminated on six different tiebreak sceanrios.

It's a long shot, but I doubt. sure hoping for it though.

here was the easiest way to make the playoffs.

not lose to the ravens, bills, not choke to the pats, not step on our dicks against tampa bay, and not blow it against carolina.

thats 5 games we should have won.

of course if we all **** in one hand and wish we beat those teams in the other, I think we all know which hand will fill up first.

I hate looking back at what we should have done, but we can't change that now. It's in the past, we must let it go. We still have a chance and look at how terrible teams like the Packers and Giants in recent years have looked as a wildcard and went on to win the Super Bowl. Is that us? I doubt it, but as long as there is hope, I will be glued to my TV Sunday afternoon.

To do it we will have to score some more points. I just can't see anything better than 8-8 if we keep playing these last possession football games. The margin for error is just too damn small. What we really need is Tanny and Wallace to heat up. That could make a huge doffernce.

Like your optimism but I dont see how there is a chance in hell of us making the playoffs. This team lacks a majority of the attributes that playoff teams possess, number one being competent coaches.

IMO we are eliminated by week 15.

Im shocked Tennessee currently is in the last spot. Who saw that coming.

I agree that we probably will get the last spot. The real question is if that is a good thing. It isn't. If we make the playoffs, Ireland will stay and we will continue to have mediocre teams for years to come...SO BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR, YOU MIGHT JUST GET IT!!!

It's going to be the Ravens or Steelers. The Dolphins squandered their opportunities and they way they have played the last month gives no indication that is going to change.

Those runs out of the shotgun formation, that tricks everyone, is what we will ride into the playoffs. They work as well as the vaunted Jesse Chatman signature spin move.

I think Baltimore will win the last spot, because of all the teams remaining in the mix, he's the most consistent QB of all the teams left, and he's won a Super Bowl.

I predicted a 4-12 finish and I am off by one so far. So, I say 5-11 now.

I really believe we will lose all of our remaining games, we may win 1 more, but guys when were only scoring around 20 points a game, taking 3-4 sacks a game, we become too predictable. It has become real difficult to watch this style of football play.

Tanny-Hill - please say Hut-Hut-Hut, instead of Go-Go.

Baltimore has a much tougher schedule: Pitt, NE, Det, Cinnci

We only have Pitt and NE

Pitt has Balt, Mia, Cinci, GB (not a big threat anymore)
SD has Cinnci, Denver, and KC...and we beat them, so I think they are pretty much toast

I think it all comes down to our game with Pitt. If we beat Pitt...we're in. (I expect to beat the Jets twice and the Bills.)

Pittsburgh has a pretty decent schedule in terms of winnable games and the difference between them and us is they have competent leaders and coaches.

They have improved a lot lately...if they are getting back to the old Pittsburgh, that will be a problem.
