It's not just our own fans, all fans get emotionally bent out of shape and irrational over their sports. Men for the most parts are rational and unemotional in life's decisions until sports come into the picture. Most sports fans are usually for the most part ill informed about how sports really work and therefore fail to make rational statements concerning sports. It is really hard to get an intelligent sports conversation with most people. I only have a few friends that I can talk to on a non emotional level about sports.

Especially with the irrational Philbin hate. You'd think this was a Jets forum the way some of these "fans" whine...

OK, I am curious. Why do you find the "Philbin hatred" irrational? What exactly do you see that he has accomplished that makes you believe in him and not find "Philbin love" to be irrational?

I'm happy for a Fins win, but I see why alot of fans are concerned. There are alot of high expectations for this team and they came out looking like the same ole Dolphins. Poor execution, poor tackling, inaccurate passes, questionable play calling, etc. I'm just happy we got out of Washington with a win, but will be cautious about how much I expect from this team moving forward.

Fan is short for fanatic. By definition we are irrational creatures

I like that block Manning just threw on 3rd down. Tannehill didn't block on our 4th and one stuff or we would have made it.

tampa fans are jumping off bridges. i can even hear them punching themselves on the way down.

I counted 6 generalizations including the title of the thread. Anyone get a different number?
