And with the third pick in the 2010 N.F.L draft the Miami Dolphins select! Yes that is correct because that is where we are headed.I appreciate Pennington but it is time for him to give way to Henne because the Falcons and no other team will respect us going deep ever and thus we cannot run the D_ _ _ ball!!!I am sick and tired of this dink and dunk crap the only deep ball was when Pat overthrew Ginn!!!! Jesu come on I see 8th graders with stronger arms!!!
 
Pennington would have completed that pass, it's not his fault Pat White is not accurate.
 
Look dude i'm pissed too, but it's way to early to declare the season over. It may well be time for Chad Henne soon though. I give Pennington the Colts game if he does bad Henne is in by halftime. We can't afford to throw the whole season giving Chad time to progress. This is likely his last year with us any way.

wow, seriously guys its one games, pennington went 21/29 for 176 yrds. lets wait until he actually plays a bad game before we give up on him.
Besides we could look like alot of other teams in the league right now like carolina and houston
 
I was embarrassed by today's performance and I am very upset with how they played. Still though, I am getting sick of these "With the ___ pick the Dolphins select" threads every year after the Dolphins lose a game. Yeah, maybe we will end up picking high in the draft. However, for these types of threads to show up after WEEK 1 on the road against a team that went to the playoffs last year is disgusting. I am embarrassed by how the team played today, and I am also embarrassed to see our fans make threads like this. Horrible.

I am embarrassed that a person with over 17,000 posts would not react over the horrible performance we saw today! Chad cannot threaten the deep middle of the field. Chad cannot throw a deep out route therefore we will never get the safety out of the box!!!! That is the problem with this site just because people get on here and accumulate thousands of posts they get the respect of knowing football!! Anyone with one eye can see that Chad cannot threaten the the entire field and force them to defend every blade of grass. We will continue to be a trick play dink and dunk joke and punchline of a team until we start Henne and by the way get Will Allens but out also!!

Did I defend the Dolphins? No, they played horrible today and we are not going to win games if they played like they did today. But, you made a declaration that Miami will be picking third in the draft which means you think we are only going to win 2-4 games this season.

I am embarrassed with how they played and they were horrible today. But I have seen enough of the NFL not to throw in the towel on the season based on one week of football against a playoff team. We looked a lot worse last year in the first two weeks of the season and we just happened to end up winning the AFC East title.

Maybe we do end up with a high first round pick, but to have that opinion after the first week? Come on now. Every year and week after a loss I see threads with the title "With the first pick of the draft, the Dolphins select...." They were all over the place last year after the Cardinals loss, guess what we ended up with the 25th overall pick.

We played bad today, but people should realize that one week does not define the entire season. There are media pundits who expect us to have a good season but still expected us to lose today. I thought we could have won this game, and with a better performance from the offense we would have.

its cause they are drama queens. People like that need bad games like today otherwise they wont be happy without something to complain about

I'm with you on this one Nub. The OP has some very valid points, but it's way too soon to be waving the white flag.
 
Sam Bradford, Jimmy Clausen, or Dez Bryant. Good choices this year :)
