He played very well when he broke into the lineup after Andre Johnson went down. He is also a very good returner although that's what we brought Ginn in for. He is also tall at 6'1 so that helps since we lack height at the WR position.

Thoughts?

He would also be cheap since Moss and a number of other pretty good receivers are on the open market.

I can see him brought in around camp time, just to see if he would compete.

hmmmm

I'd definitely take a look at him. You're right he will be cheaper then quite a few of the WR in the FA & he was great in place of AJ while he was out, plus they have a pretty decent WR pool there too. I picked him up in my Fantasy League & watched him pretty closely & he truly makes an all out effort to catch every thing he can. I don't know what his catch/drop ratio is, but he definitely had some nice games where the wealth was really spread around (J.Jones, Walters, etc). Think I'd even prefer him over KJ. Guess we'll see.

Go Fins!

Honestly I thought Andre Davis would be a star when he was drafted by the Browns in 2002.

That didn't happen but....

I would love to bring him in. Davis has good size and speed. He could be a good receiver for us for now.

Low cost and low risk!

Good idea.

He was invisible his first three seasons. He must be a late bloomer. I grabbed him off waivers in my fantasy league with Johnson injured a lot. He did pretty good. I wouldn't mind seeing him compete for a spot if Keyshawn is going to ask for too much money.

I like Andre Davis and he is fast. Andre Davis & Ginn would make for a fast combination.Sign him up.Add T. Copper to the mix and we got a nice group IMO.

No let's get Davis then draft either James Hardy, Malcolm Kelly, or Limas Sweed as a beefy big target to complement them. At that point our WR corps would be set especially if Hagan ever blossomed. All we would need is a TE.

It wouldn't hurt to bring him in but I wouldn't expect much from him as a receiver. His next team will be his 5th in the past 5 years.

Davis is 6'1" but so is Rich Camarillo and Hagan is 6'2". I don't care how tall a receiver is, I care about how well they can play.

Yes to Andre Davis. He is the best free agent WR on the market, unless you think New England is stupid enough to let Randy Moss go.

But I don't think Davis will be cheap. He won't be expensive. But he won't be cheap either.

Definitely an upgrade over Booker.

Look at this speed.

And he is like the third most well known WR available after Berrian and Moss. We should pick up either him or Johnson.

He would be a solid cheap guy. Basically we have only two receivers on our roster with Hagan and Ginn so to go out and sign Bryant Johnson, Andre Davis and draft a guy would be quite nice set of receivers.
