Receiver Andre Johnson’s exit from the Texans after 12 seasons that established him as a candidate for the Pro Football Hall of Fame could lead him to his first Super Bowl. The Texans gave Johnson’s agent, Kennard McGuire, permission to seek a trade for one of the greatest receivers in history. If a trade can’t be worked out, Johnson will be placed on waivers, making him an unrestricted free agent.
If money isn’t an issue, Johnson might be able to sign with a perennial Super Bowl contender like New England, Seattle, Baltimore or Denver, where Gary Kubiak is in his first season as the Broncos’ coach.
Johnson played his greatest seasons in his eight years with Kubiak.

At this point in his career he is looking to go to a team contending this next season and that is not us imo.

Eh, I don't see us going after him trade wise, maybe as a free agent. But he clearly still wants to be "the guy" and with Wallace already needing his share of attention, plus we have Landry, I just have a hard time seeing it. I always thought Johnson was a team first kinda guy, not "me first" but now I wonder.

He definitely shouldn't command top dollar. I wouldn't even offer him that much honestly.

This too. He will probably go to Seattle or New England. And still will fail to get to 10 TDs lol

He probably goes to Denver but would I love to see him as a Phin YES.

Step aside, Finnigan. This is AJ's city. []_[]

Finnegan messed with the wrong guy that day.

dude got f***ed up

eh... he would be fine there, but he really really struggled to separate last year. he is aging, he has slowed. great guy, great WR though... would be good to have around youth to teach and work with, but I am not sure what he really is offering anymore on the field, physically.

I would rather get some youth at the WR position. If we were a playoff team I would say go for it but we just aren't there yet. Maybe if we could get him cheap but I don't know what his value would be.

Isn't Johnson around 35??? He has been a great receiver but if we could sign Suh he would do way more than an aging receiver who is starting to break down.

hes 33 signing him would be like signing chad johnson, i say lets get randel cobb and trade mike wallace and get a rb, slot reciever, or fs

Hell yes on this! I'm for AJ in "The Aquarium" (new stadium nickname)... him, Wallace, Landry, Sims/Clay... me likey!

His salary cap hit is 16.1 next year guys (2nd highest for a WR). He's on the backside of his career. Unless he comes at at waaayyy reduced rate I don't see him in the Phins plans IMO
