Houstons Wide recievers tandum will be the first true test for our so far unimpressive secondary. Can we matchup some how and will we blitz heavily in order to contain Houstons unimpressive ofense? David Carr has been getting better protection this year but will it be sufficient enough against our blitz? Key to victory pressure Carr all day long, every which way.

Hopefully Daniels will be back at CB and do a decent job, but the safety position is still in turmoil. If the players he has can't grasp the D schemes then Houston will have a big day in the air. Hope it's all worked out, we need this game.

Im really starting to worry about jason allen. If our secondary is so suspect why cant he crack the line up? Im hoping before midway through the season he sees some action. such a wasted talent sitting on the bench, IMO.

well our blitz so far this season hasnt been so good so i think that we will have to beat them a different way to just sending in blitzes

I was thinking the exact same thing. I know that he's a rookie, but after 3 games and the preseason I don't think that it could get any worse at safety to be frank. Even if there are some growing pains, at least he will get some experience, and with our safety play, we could use him if he turns out to be what he is supposed to be.

Dont forget Travis Daniels is back and near 100% so thats a big boost

Carr has great numbers for a couple of reasons

1) He is good Im not going to take that away from him

2) They have been coming from so far behind all year

3) They have been so far behind teams have been giving their WR a lot of extra cushion so they dont get beat deep

Well, they probably won't be playing from too far behind against us lol. Though thats not really a good thing.

Daniels is back.

Go back to rushing just 4 down-lineman and Taylor in the 3-4 and drop our Lbs cuz I think our interior D can handle their rushing attack. No safety blitzes, except for maybe sending Bell several times. That guy excels at blitzing the QB. Their starting LT Spencer is out and Ephraim Salaam is in. He can't handle Taylor so I expect them to chip or double-team him which will make Carter's job easier cuz I think he is much better than their starting RT Wiegert right now.

Oh yes and I will be at the game with my mom and both of us will be wearing Dolphins shirts!

If the safetys just play it safe and stay on the man especially Andre and Moulds and keep the double team goin we should be able to stop them.

Don't forget, the TEs are scoring TD's. We use the short passing game instead of the running game. Our running game is bad so Carrs stats go up with short passes. Then woops. Andre for a 20+ gain:peace:
