I'm ok with both those moves. We need Clay back. As far as Odrick,he's solid but not great. Better options possible in free agency imo.

Ozzy rules!!

Clay is a MUST re-sign in my eyes..... Now with Odrick on the other hand, im okay either way if he stays or goes... All I know is that we need to get better and letting some go to improve the team Im all for it.....

i agree Clay is a must sign. Tannehill needs him especially if we are going to get rid of a couple of receivers from last year. ie. Hratline and Gibson. Tannehill needs a level of comfort with the recievers and he has that with Clay. I also think that Clay has performed well enough to warrant an extension. I would also hate him to go to Buffalo.

It all comes down to health and depth. Clay is above average when he's 100%, otherwise, he's Anthony Fasano. Odrick is a good when our LBs are healthy, otherwise, he's not good enough to make up for back-up LBs in the run game.

Highly doubt we get Clay at 4 million a year. 5 to 6 million a year is much more realistic.

Still a must resign.

All of this sounds good. Clay making around 4 mil/year puts his salary around what Delanie Walker got last year in free-agency, so that price seems very good for the Dolphins.

As for Odrick, I'm thinking the Dolphins should let him test the market, unless he is going to agree to a very team/cap friendly deal (which he probably won't). His production last year didn't really warrant a contract that's above 3 mil/year. I would much rather go the route of Earl Mitchell + young guys already on roster + a draftee/free agent. This team needs a bigger body in the middle of the D-line.

Remember that Delaney Walker was 30 and Clay only just turned 26. He's one of the better young TE's in the game. He'll get interest like one with a pretty underwhelming group in the draft.

Clay is the primary guy we need to re-sign. i would love Odrick back, but we have options at DT if he moves on. if we re-sign Odrick, Starks will be cut. if Odrick walks we will likely keep Starks.
