Any early reviews on the new guys: Andrew Franks and Matt Darr? I know that it's just one game but...whatever. Your early review?

Both guys did their jobs well. Will still be nervous when Franks has to kick a 45 yarder until we see more. Darr's punts looked awesome at the game...booming. I'm pretty sold on him.

I was impressed by both. Only one game, but they were both excellent.

We got an ugly win and people on this board are down on the team to a point and yet, nobody said a bad thing about our 2 rookie kickers so that tells you they did fine on sunday. The guy punted great and the kicker made his 1 try field goal and both extra points plus only one of his kick offs was returned

Ozzy rules

Franks hasnt missed anything yet, both have cannons for legs, I like it

Darr did rocket 1 through the endzone he could have hit inside the 20. But otherwise he was great

Both did very well. Franks was solid on kickoffs and Darr as good or better than Fields.

That's the sad thing about their positions - nobody talks about them much unless they screw up or the kicker has to kick a game-winner.

For both of them to play as well as they did in their first real NFL game says a lot. I was expecting at least one kickoff out of bounds or a mishandled long snap. So far so good.

We'll learn more about Franks as he is given opportunities for long FGs.

Darr did pretty well except one touchback that Fields would have put within the 10......not complaining, just an observation.

Two more good things...they're young players. Andrew Franks is just 22; Matt Dar is only 23. They'll, if they keep up the good work, be Dolphins for a long while which is pretty awesome I think. They're gonna kick some serious azz in the coming seasons. - :rolleyes2: -

Just like the rest of the posts....Feel good about Darr, jury still out on Franks. Cautiously optimistic on both..
