Don't know if any of you saw it, but for those who didn't, here is a transcript I made.

Rome: Did you happen to check out the Monday night game last night?

Luck: Yeah I did.

Rome: What are your thoughts on the Dolphins? They were certainly having a tough time last night. Does that look like a place you could see yourself playing?

Luck: (Laughs) Yeah I guess they were having a tough time, but I don't think about that right now. Like I said, if I start thinking about the next level, it'd be a disservice to my teammates, to the coaching staff, and the University so I try to stay away from it.

Rome: Fair enough. You did make a point recently that the "Suck for Luck" campaign is stupid. Kind of elaborate on that, why do you think that and where were you going with it?

Luck: Well, you know, I think a true fan will stick by their team in tough times and I don't think anyone wants to lose on purpose. And again, I don't think I relish that attention.

Mr. Luck - Most of us fans are sticking with our team, even though our team has basically given us zero reason to for many years. Us 'true' fans don't want to lose on purpose, we want to lose for a purpose, and that purpose is to draft you.

haha great.

Lose for a purpose.

Watching this and listening to this kid speak just made me want the Dolphins to suck for him even more.

That was thoughtful of you to write the transcript. The weird thing though was watching his face when he was asked the question. He looked away and then at someone behind the camera before he answered. Maybe not worth reading into but that's the only question where he reacted like that. I wonder if Oliver Luck was in the room with him.

What greater fans could you want than people who would actively root for their team to be humiliated before all the world just because they want a chance to draft you?

It's the fans who don't want us to lose who don't deserve him.

Waiting for the anti luckers to translate it as that he is holding out and will never want to play for the phins cause of their fans

He said the right things. He'll be the #1 overall pick next year, I don't see him staying at Stanford another year for no reason at all (no matter what he's going to be drafted by the worst team whether its 2012 or 2013). I didn't think we would be bad enough to get him, but I'm starting to believe.

Like the long suffering Lion fan that came before us, those left around here are Uber-fans and should be held in high regard.

Get this guy to Miami. I would give up the next three 1st round picks for him AND bring Greise's #12 out of retirement so he could wear it! Get the guy to MIAMI!!!!!!

Best stuff I have read all day!!

Luck seems like a good person and is football smart. Says the right things. He reminds me of Peyton Manning in his interviews...

If he doesn't become a Franchise QB I would be SHOCKED. He is as sure a thing as there is. How could you not want him on this team that has gone through 16 QBs since 2000?
