Andrew Luck Watch [WEEK 4]

i dont see what he would gain by doing that.

look at all the top candidates for the first pick now.

kc, stl, miami, indy, seattle,etc.

why are those any more attractive to him than miami? also, as a top drafted player, you would think being as competitive as he is, he would want to go to a place where he can start right away. in indy, that most likely would not be the case.

bottom line, that isnt a common occurrence, although it does happen, and this kid seems like a good kid, and i feel he would embrace the opportunity with whoever gave it to him.

I just can't see the Rams taking Luck. They invested a ton into Bradford (50 million guaranteed right?). Plus, I think they get it together as the season goes along. Here's hoping the Vikings & Colts get some wins as well.

Watch Rams games when you get the chance. You will see. Bradford is Chad Henne with a much larger contract. He isn't even in the class of guys like Kyle Orton.

I'll be sure to check him out when they play the Cardinals (since I live in AZ and they always show Cardinal games). I'll admit that I havent seen much of Bradford so perhaps he is quite awful haha. I just hope he & the Rams get it together soon and start winning some games here :)

i think we will end up winning 5 or 6 games and end up with a top 10 pick but not high enough to draft luck. in this case i say we draft tryann mathieu out of lsu he is a playmaker and turnover machine exactly wat our deense needs

We have to make sure we lose to DEN and KC to be in the running, the rest of the games will take care of itself.

NO! We are starting over with a new regime. If we have a top 10 pick, the regime NEEDS to get a franchise QB, otherwise, they are destined to failure. We don't know when the next time we will suck hard enough to grab one, so we need to do it now. We need Luck or Barkley. Anything else would be a failure.

If we can tank the KC game we have a chance. Go Dolphins!!

Enough with the "this team won't need a QB" talk. If they are bad enough to have the number 1 overall pick, why would they not take Luck?

Especially since the cap numbers are not bad anymore and Luck is the best prospect coming out.

Only way we get Luck is if we finish the season with 1 win or less.

I don't see that happening.

Tell me where you see the wins realistically? Denver, KC, and the Redskins are the only winnable games I see n the schedule.

At best we are 3-13. We definitely have a shot if we lose 1 or 2 of those 3 games.

your telling us you think St.Louis would draft Luck ? Even after they just drafted Bradford #1 and payed him 78 mil ?
your telling us Minnesota,Jacksonville,Tennesee,Carolina would draft Luck, even after they just drafted Qbs high in round one, all while knowing Luck would be out the following year ?
you think the colts would take him and shove the great manning aside with only a hope of the next rodgers.?

Don't be surprised if we make a serious move for Palmer before the start of next season. Don't know what that would do to whether we draft a first round QB but I believe we will go after Palmer.

Don't depress me with that type of Miami Dolphins FO Logic.

Yep. He was marginal at best last season and is downright awful in his sophomore year. 5.6 yards per attempt is pitiful. He's completing less than 50% of his passes and he's not even taking shots downfield. He's awful. If the Rams get the #1 pick, they are taking Luck. Remember, there's a rookie salary cap now, so it's not like they'll be stuck with two mega contracts.

The only one of those teams that's bad enough to get the #1 pick is Minnesota, and they're going to find out what they have in Ponder soon enough. McNabb is garbage. I can't believe there were people calling for Miami to get him in the off season.

Why would they shove him aside? They could sit the #1 QB prospect on the bench to learn behind him while Peyton plays out his twilight years. Assuming he has any twilight years. He might never play again.

The only reason the colts would draft him is if they strongly believed peyton wouldnt be able to come back, they have too many problems to pick a qb that they'll have on the bench with the 1st pick
