In case you haven't already read it, Andy Cohen has a new article out:

I like these parts of the article. It sounds like Cam's working hard and starting to put the pieces of the puzzle together.

"One thing I like about Cameron is that his mind always seems to be on “record.†He digests everything in front of him. He asks plenty of questions. The notes he takes are only a smart part of it. You can always see the wheels turning in his calculating mind as a receiver catches a pass in full stride or an offensive lineman peels into his blocking stance."

"I have said since his hiring that it is a refreshing change to have a head coach with an offensive pedigree after so many defensive-minded coaches before Cameron. Heaven knows, the Dolphins could use some innovative thinking on offense."

This is a good sign:

"As the draft approaches, it appears that the working relationship between General Manager Randy Mueller and Cameron is off to a good, solid start."

I don't know about you guys, but it looks like I'm all the way on the Cam & Randy bandwagon. Hopefully, after they get us an awesome draft, all of Dolphin Nation will be on board and ready for a great ride .... hopefully at least making the playoffs this year.
:bandwagon  :1st:  :drinkers: :mor911: :dancing:

I agree, everything sounds good. But like Cohen, I want to see what we can do with our ten picks, yes ten picks in the draft. so awsome. Let Mueller pick his players. Im excited.

No doubt Cam and Randy need to hit the jackpot in the draft this year. I want some immediate impact players. People have been saying we need a youth movement. Well, with 10 picks this is a year we're going to get it.

We haven't had too many good drafts in the past 5 years or so. They say Randy did well drafting for the Saints. This needs to be a year he does it for us. Maybe he can find a few of those late round "diamonds in the rough" along with the first day guys. It's time we got lucky like the Patriots did getting Brady in the 6th round in 2000 or whenever it was.

But AC is always otpimistic to the point of being a pollyanna.

I really think Mueller should pick the players and Cam should coach them. That will work if they each focus on their jobs and do them well.

Ten picks is good, and I hope that someone drops to us that Pitt or GB wants and they want to trade up so we can get even another pick or two.

We need to for seven or eight of the rookies to make this team this year and be ready to be solid contributors or starters next season. Then, if there is one glaring need next year, we can package a deal and move up and get that one special player.

but just remember guys there many more eddie moores out then dan marinos . and injuries are a aspect that cam and randy have no control over.
i think they will do a good job and i think wanny could have done a better job then saban if he wouldnt have been so stubbern.:cooldude:

Yeah I'm with them so far, but trading anything higher than a 6th or 7th for Green and I will call them idiots. If they meet petersons 2nd and 7th that he is demanding they should both be fired on the spot.

But yes so far I am liking this. Probably cause you don't have 1 person demanding all influence like **** Saban, so randy can work. So far we have had 1 transaction that has not worked in our favor and that was the McMichael release. In this draft I suspect a TE in round 2 though so all will be ok.

This is the happiest Ive ever seen this organization. Everyone actually seems to want to be here.

Its easy, just pick the best QB that falls into your lap that you know will lead this team eventually and get two OL that you know can roadgrade upfront and who are smart with good characters, and then maybe get a speedy WR or TE that you covet that you know you need for this offense.

We have 5 picks to 108. Nice position to get some real starting talent or major PT because our OL is a skeleton.
