Andy Reid says Dave Toub is cut out to be a head coach

yes that's why he so quickly jumped to add him to his staff and all these teams are interviewing him for their head coaching jobs
 
He also said he thought Cam Cameron would be a good head coach.
 
Damn, all of you cats are negative. What did Dave Toub do to you to make you dislike him so much? Did he kick your cat or something? Do any of you watch the Bears? Do you at least think that he may have something to do with Hester running kick off and punt return touchdowns like he is on the one yard line. Hester is not the only fast return guy in the league. I am quite sure that the coach has something to do with it. Maybe he is a good coach. Let the Dolphins do their due diligence before all of you start hating on them please.

He's a special teams coach. Yes, I understand it's possible he could be a good coach, but a special teams coach?

Can we please retire the word "hating?" It's so tired, and a pretty lazy way of analyzing something. Some of the criticism is a bit premature, I'll admit; however, the Dolphins have brought all the negativity on themselves. They've let us down year after year with bonehead decision after bonehead decision. Our negativity is what they deserve until they give us a reason to think otherwise.
 
I honestly think Toub is an interresting option. Also read he left a pretty good impression in his interview... Him being a special team coordinator doesn bother me at all, through the years, you'll realize that HCs background doesnt always translate their team... Billichik for example, is supposed to be a defensive minded coach...
 
Everything I have heard about Toub has been positive. He is a meticulous guy who players like to play for. He also is respected around the league. I had read that he had a pretty good 1st interview with the Dolphins so they want to interview him again.
