Alright, here's the plan with the GM League for the remaining time. We're going to try to edge things out for another month so we can still be around when the actual NFL Draft occurs. Here's how the schedule will go.

March 31st-April 13th: Finalize rosters. Feel free to sign some undrafted free agents, make your last cuts, and continue to do trades. Remember, the cap is 62 million and the roster limit is 53. There will be no practice squads.

April 14th-April 20th: Submit your final rosters. I will create a thread simply for your final rosters where you will give your depth chart (with salaries) and possibly analysis on how you improved each position and the team as a whole. The analysis is not mandatory, you can analyze positions as a whole or individual players. It makes no difference to me. Please explain your offensive and defensive philosophy too.

April 21st-April 27th: Nominations. We will nominate the top five in the "Best Of" Categories. We will not be nominating the overall winner, but simply the "Best Of" Categories. The "Best Of" Categories are the following:

Best of Trades
--Team you feel made the best trades for the better of their team.
Best of Free Agency
--Team you feel made the best free agency moves this year.
Best of Draft
--Team you feel had the best draft this year.
Trade of the Year
--Biggest trade for the GM League this year.
Free Agent Steal of the Year
--How did this GM get this guy so cheap?
Draft Steal of the Year
--How did this GM get this guy so late in the draft?
Rookie GM of the Year
--The best new GM this year
Most Improved GM
--The GM who has improved the most from last year

April 28th-May 4th: Final voting. Vote for the overall GM League winner and the recipients to the "Best Of" Categories.

May 5th: Announcement of the winners. The winners will be announced and the GM League will be over with for the year. The overall winner will get a personalized banner stating "2008 GM League Champion". The "Best Of" Category winners will have pride and nothing more.

I'm shooting for 3 things up there

1.Best draft
2.Draft steal (Jordy Nelson)
3.RGOTY

Me (Robertson at 145), Saint Greg (Harry Douglas at 172), Seahawks (Greco at 153), Titans (Johnson 121), and especially the redskins (Kehl at 213!!) all had at least as big of steals as you.

I'm shooting for being a nominee on the category's I mentioned. Though I want RGOTY.

Its a little harder for rookie of the year for you because many people will take into consideration that you got the defending superbowl champions, so there weren't too much you could do to improve them...or that you may not have improved enough.

I think you did enough to add depth, but other than that there isn't a world of difference, that and some of the players that you counted on were rookies last year who came on late during their run to the Superbowl, so we don't know if that's how they will continue to play.

I'll gladly compete with Maj for RGMOTY.

I'd also like my Ahtyba Rubin #110 selection to be thrown in the ring for best draft steal.

I also made the best trades, had the best FA, and the best draft. Hard to not consider me the overall winner.

No some of those silly trades and lateral moves will hurt you.

Yea, I had a good number of lateral moves. Like the AP trade for example:
I got a ton for him, and basically was able to revamp my defense, but I lose because of the perception of how important AP is to the W column.

I thimk I have to be the most imprived GM from last year. I joined this league after the draft last year and had little time to get a roster together and my team wasn't very good at all. This year I'm more comfortable with my team, especaiiaally compared tio last year.

Just throwing it out there becuase I just want to win/nominated for seomthing.

You made some BAD trades last year.

You'll be in consideration, no doubt.

I know I didn't take a huge risk taking on the Giants but overall I improved them for the long run. I would have kept Strahan but he was on the fence of retiring so.

I'll throw my hat in the ring as well. I was given a leftover team no one wanted that was coming off a poor season, finally gave the Chiefs an upgrade in WR (I'll take Stokley, Gage, and Jackson over Webb/Parker/aging Kennison as my #2, 3, 4 WR's any day), dumped expensive aging CB's with cheaper yet similarly talented CB's, and set up a nice platform for the future while competing against AFC West teams that didn't really do much to improve (outside of Oakland).

I think it'll be a pretty tough race for RGMOTY so good luck to all who qualify.
