OK..... I know it's only preseason. But as of now, I'm not very impressed. He does not shed blocks and is getting almost zero pressure on the QB. Please..... ANYONE....Point out something he has done well this preseason. Because as of this moment in time, Dion Jordan does not look like a #3 overall pick in the draft.

Did he even play? Couldn't tell from the number of times his name was called...

No new threads until something changes..
We all know this..
People will argue over Tannehill, Wallace,Miller,Moreno,Delmas,Finne
But Jordan seems to be understood by all..
We forced a kid out of natural position and now we are stuck with what we created

I felt he was better as a SAM linebacker than a defensive end. He's 6'7 runs a 4.60 laser has extremely fluid hips and can carry Gronk down the seam. At Oregon he even played some nickel corner. He could be one of the premier 4-3 SAM linebackers. He could even stay on the field as a nickel backer. Or you could use him as a situational pass rusher in subpackages. Either way, he is being played out of position.

Not sure we all agree. Some feel like he is misused or miscast, personally I JUST DONT FEEL HE IS VERY good

Hard to say he is good.. He is not
Hard to say couldnt be he has the tools...

In no draft would I ever say that Dion Jordan was the third best player but oh my if I were starting a flag football league

I would have had no complaints if we took him at #12 though... and played him at SAM linebacker..

He played LB on a few plays, for some reason I feel like that is where he eventually ends up. He had two nice pressures tonight.

I have serious doubts he can play linebacker other than in a 3-4 role. He has way too many holes in his game. His coverage ability is greatly exaggerated basd on very little actual proof he can cover at NFL level.

think there's some possibility he may be dogging it to get outta miami

I do happen to think it's a little of that too. But I agree with Dlockz in that I don't see him amounting to much more than a blitzing 3-4 linebacker.

I'm wondering what impact getting caught juicing would have on your status in the locker room. I'm sure there must be players that are trying to make it by staying clean and they might have thought they were having a fair competition with Jordan, realizing it would be a tough battle to beat out the third overall pick. But come to find out he's cheating on top of his other advantages? That can't sit well with a lot of players in the locker room.
