Kuechenberg was Guard with the Dolphins from 1970 to 1984. Since I began watching the Dolphins back in 1976, I vaguely remember him, but what an honor. :D

Kuechenberg made the Pro Bowl six times, the first time in 1974 and the last in 1983. If inducted, he would be the third offensive lineman from the 1972 Dolphins team to get in.
Kuechenberg a step closer to receiving his Hall pass

Thursday morning, after 13 years of hoping and waiting, the former Dolphins guard discovered he's one of 15 finalists for induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio. Kuechenberg's wife, Jill, received a FedEx letter from the Hall of Fame on Thursday and quickly called her husband. But Bob didn't open the envelope, instead letting Jill do the honors as he awaited her reaction. Jill danced with joy. Bob tried to remain stoic after years of frustration, years of watching former offensive linemates Jim Langer, Larry Little and Dwight Stephenson get inducted.
How EXCITING!! :D GOOD LUCK!!

he certainly deserves the nod to join his two interior linemates (Larry Little and Jim Langer).
