Top Five Wish List. Assuming Some high profile juniors come out.

1. Brady Quinn, the best college QB playin right now. I admit Notre Dame is my favorite college team, but come on guys this guy looks awesome, and has proved he can pick up a pro offense quickly.

2. DBrickashaw, everone says he is freakin awesome and LT is one position that like QB has been neglected for about five or six years.

3. Haloti Ngata, this guy could not only plug up the middle for ten years, but could go a long way in extending Zach's career. Imagine Ngata and Traylor playin the DT in the 4-3 at the same time and rotating the NT on 3-4. A possible line up of
DE DT DT DE
K. Carter Traylor Ngata Taylor

No one could run on that.

4. A.J. Hawk, possible Zach replacement. Crowder looks solid and Seau will be gone so it is a position of need.

5. The corner from Va Tech., I forgot his name but reports show him to have all the potential necessary to play at a high level. With Surtain gone, Howard sucking, Madison not the same player, Poole coming off surgery, well I think you see where I am going.

Jimmy Williams is the corner you're speaking of....bad news possibly but I guarantee Quinn isn't coming out..all in all I love what you're saying though.

edit: also I don't think we will be picking high enough to get any of them.

I would like to see a veteren QB( Brees-Carr-McNair) or even trade for Rivers, would simply rather have a QB thats been in the league.

With the draft I would like to see these 4 positions adressed

CB-LB-OL-S

I agree. Except add Mike Degory the Center from Florida, Michael Huff Safety from Texas, Derek Hagan Wide Receiver for Arizona State, Ernie Sims Outside Linebacker for Florida State, and Max Jean-Gilles Guard for Georgia.

Brady Quinn has played but Matt Leinart may end up the greatest college QB of all time so I don't think Quinn is the best QB playing right now. I would rather have Rod Wright than Ngata. If the LT position has been the one position neglected for 6 years, what about QB, it's been over 20 years since the team took a QB on the first day I believe.

Those are the top guys on my wish list too, sucks that they won't be on the board long enough for us to scoop any of them. And I don't want to trade up, we need all the picks we can get.

Ngata projects out to be a 3 technique DT which really has no place in a 3-4 D. Cross him off the list

That corner youre talking about is Jimmy Williams... The best corner in the NCAA.

He is 6'3/6'4 and is absolutly dominant... a true "shutdown" corner... and with his height and athletic ability, he the is the anti-TO type CB... He can combat the big WRs like Plaxico Burress and Chad Johnson... If we get him...our secondary will be nasty for years...

I missed the game... I was at the UCF Homecoming game... From what I understood, it was the running game that dominated VT... not the passing game...

Miami's QB threw for only 146 yards... and their leading receiver, Sinorice Moss had only 27 yards... sounds like an outstanding performance by J-Will if you ask me...

Assuming that we'll most likely be picking in the middle of the rounds...

Go for one of the many linebackers in the first round which is very top heavy and then go with my boy Alan Zemaitis to shore up the corner spot in the 2nd round...sure I go to Penn State and am going to be biased but believe me this guy has been making plays for the last three years.

whats ferguson´s size these days, i thought he would be to light to play LT in the pros

well, as you said, you missed the game. they didn't throw to williams because of his history, but when they did, he didn't look good. he especially looked poor on the basic NFL out-route. AND he looked poor against the run. a bad time for him to have a below-average game

Well... he probably was rusty since NOONE throws his way...

I wanna see clips of him not looking good vs. an out route... (how many times did they throw his way? that one time?) and struggling vs. the run (one of his strengths)... I dont buy it until I see it... you got any clips?

If he was struggling... I think they would have attacked him more...
