After watching the tape of Monday's game, the one thing that stands out about AJ is he has a strong arm, but his biggest problem is "panic." He is the worst at sidestepping the first push or rush. AJ does not put up a fight once the protection is gone. Gus did exactly what AJ cannot do and that is under huge pressure (almost in his own endzone), fight off that first threat and stay calm! I don't know if AJ can learn this. Let me know what you think.

No offense Grendel....but I think youll get an idea as to how everyone thinks about this issue by reading the some other gazillion posts on the same subject.

That being said...I think this is due to playing time as a starter..and can be worked on. For those Guskateers about to yell..."Hes had time"..I said it can be worked on...I didnt say it would happen.

That is a good point. Is that something you can learn, or you just have that talent. AJ just needs some more confidence. I think a better O-Line would help obviously... I'm just glad there is another month before Denver.

Phillip Rivers panicked in his first playing time. That doesn't mean he doesn't have ability. I'm not sure if AJ will fix this problem, but its something to keep in mind.

Thanks for the reply guys, just wondering. I guess will see next week.
