Another look at the 2011 Miami Dolphins schedule

The middle part of the schedule looks to be much easier after seeing them perform on week 1. Many winnable games. Although, last year we totally flunked on the "easy" part of our schedule. Its a shame the 1st and last half of the schedule are absolutely brutal. We need to sweep either the Jets or Bills and split with the rest of our division foes.

Not sure if it was intentional, but you highlighted 7 games you expected us to win.

No, I highlighted the easier games in the middle of the schedule. I didn't predict any wins or losses.

So pretty much the plan to get in the playoffs is 11-5 with a nice run in the middle of the year:

Win 3 of the first 5 (NE, Hou, @ Clev, @ SD, @ NYJ)
Then win 6 of 7 (Den, @ NYG, @ KC, Was, Buf, @ Dal, Oak)
Win 2 of the last 4 (Phi, @ Buf, @ NE, NYJ)

This is one of the more realistic predictions out there IMO. Ive said from the beginning of TC I dont see us winning any more than 6 games. Although that was before Henne looked like a pro bowler and the defense crapped the bed. So that nets out my prediction again.

Good plan
 
i think we can win a majority of the games, but looking at that schedule no game is a gimmie. All of the teams we're playing are improved compared to last year. Except maybe the Browns and the Broncos. KC has no defense so Henne should light them up.

I agree this is a good plan. Good and concise break down of the season's must wins.
 
This week's game is an absolute must win because we have to be at least 2-2 before the bye week. I already chalk up a loss at SD so we got to win this week and next week in CLE.

Then the next part of the schedule is where we have to make our move and win 6 of the next 8 games. I see wins vs DEN, KC, WAS, BUF, OAK and a split vs NYG and DAL. Losses vs NYJ and 1 of DAL-NYG.

The last 4, we couldn't expect much more than 2 wins unless NE plays soft and without starters (not their way to do things though so I write a loss there anyway). We could also hope that some key players from PHI are injured to give us a chance.

10-6 would be good to qualify as a 6th seed...

So Monday against one of the top 2 teams in the league, when we were in the game until the middle of the 4th quarter (with no defense)....showed you we will go 6-10?......this ****ing board needs to chill

Must win? I guess you didnt watch the Chargers play like dog **** last week against a bad minnesota team that threw for 39 yds? We got a good shot to be 3-1 if we win this weekend (Which can be done)
