Another Pat White Plus

WOW!

I am telling you every player we've drafted has some hit highlight like this. Parcells and Sparano are changing the franchise into hard hitters.

Pat meets all three of those, that's for sure. I've always felt Pat's toughness was underrated. He's never been afraid to take (or give) a hit.
 
He took out two defenders with that block. I know some people are complaining, but Pat White is without a doubt one of the best athletes in the entire draft.
 
I was pissed with the pick at first, but I am starting to love this guy more and more. The interesting thing is that he is actually not significantly smaller than Michael Vick (he's actually slightly taller, but about 10-15 lbs lighter) and he is more accurate. I'm starting to think that he will be an amazing pickup for us.
 
Can someone explain what happened in that video? I can't tell where he is at blocking. At what point in the video does it happen?

Noel is just a sophomore. It is assumed next season will be his last at WVU but you never know. I'm hoping he sticks around.

Owen was drafted last year in the 5th by the Seahawks. He mostly saw action on ST last season but is expected to be their starter at FB this year with Leonard Weaver's departure.

One thing I just learned from watching these videos....he's a lefty!! Usually if Ronnie is going to run he goes right, White looks like he prefers to roll left....and he can throw a strike!!! Maybe Im jumping the gun, but I really do think we are going to revolutionize the NFL...Ive heard arguments that the spread cant work in the nfl bc of the speed of players...doesnt make sense to me, the offense should be moving as fast as the defense. The idea this season I think is going to be to spead the defense out. It will not allow them to sit and clog the middle like they alwaays did to use last season bc Pennington can't go deep.
 
I like the pick, but wouldnt trading a lower pick, or ricky williams to the 49ers for a guy like Michael Robinson make more sense?

Robinson was a cappable QB at PSU but c'mon..., Pat White is going to make us all forget the sting of the announcement of Tedd Ginn and his family...

And I like Teddy but White is electric...
