Free agent DL Vonnie Holliday is scheduled to visit the Broncos on Thursday and the Lions sometime early next week.
Denver is ready to challenge for the league's oldest defense. Holliday, 33, would at least be an immediate starter there, likely at defensive end opposite Darrell Reid. Holliday would play tackle for Jim Schwartz in Detroit.

Looks like they took that beating we gave them last year in Denver pretty hard!

No chance he goes to the Lions... he's worked so hard his whole career and seems like a very proud person/player. I can't see him ending his career with perennial losers.

Good luck Vonnie (except when you play the Fins)

i am not big on signing massive free agents non-stp... but i do like what Denver is doing here..... not getting too expensive but signing solid players that are going to make a big impact right away (especially defense where they most need it).... Denver is getting a thumbs up from me!!!

besides irking Cutler (thats a tough situation)

This is exactly the wrong way to rebuild a team imo. Instead of injecting a bunch of youth to grow....they're getting every ancient guy they can find. The one young good player they have they wanted to trade away. Will there be anyone in their secondary under 30? Thank god the trifecta knows what they're doing.

i totally agree with you here. but with their offense nd a completely absent defense right now... they need people that are solid and that can step in.... the secondary they got is great for that.... i think this is a good fit for Denver as they can bring in youth and develop them too!!! i like what tyhey have done!!!! basically defensively once again
