Elizabeth Merrill, of the Kansas City Star, reports Kansas City Chiefs OL Kevin Sampson was in a New Jersey hospital Thursday, Oct. 6, after reportedly suffering a seizure. By late Thursday, head coach Dick Vermeil confirmed that Sampson was in a hospital in Sampson's home state. But Vermeil didn't know much more than that. He said hospital officials would not speak to them until the hospital officials had reached Sampson's parents. "I'm very, very concerned," Vermeil said. "I've been trying all afternoon to get information. I haven't heard from anybody." Lamonte Winston, the Chiefs' director of player development, told The Jersey Journal that Sampson's collapse was "not at all drug- or steroid-related."
Why are all of these playing have a seizure all of a sudden?
