Another Power Ranking List Has Miami In The Bottom 10

Fair outside assessment overall. If you weren't a phins fan would you predict they will be a top 15 team, especially with the Pats in our division?

Just going to have to prove people otherwise to change thier minds.

26. Dolphins (29): WRs Danny Amendola, DeVante Parker and Kenny Stills seem like beautiful complements ... if Ryan Tannehill is ready to stand and deliver."

Plus, reading the assessment they made its spot on. Its all about TH, who at the moment is unprove.

Phins have basically done ziltch the last 2 decades and more to warrant any serious attention or respect. Nothing to see here. Time to break that trend? Absolutely. Will it happen? Probably not but....you never know.

if RT plays 16, we will sweep the Bills and Jets split the pats and win 9 or 10

It is what it is to be honest. What has Miami done to be ranked in the top 15?

The answer is nothing on the field and on paper you can make the same case right now.

Do I think they are bottom of the league? No.

Do I think a lot of things need to go right and click to end up in the top of the league?
Yes.

And there is a lot of ground between the no and the yes so ranking them in the bottom is the safe bet right now.

I don't care what they say about us one way or the other. We have to go out there and win the games out on the field. That's all that matters

My power rankings:

Oh wait, let me give my caveats' just in case I get a couple wrong.
  • My rankings are based on last years team and how they played at the end of the year
  • I'm going to make wavy jazz hands about new player adds or subtracts, but we're moving fast here.
  • I'm also assuming that no one who matters gets injured again (unless I want to knock you down in the ratings, and then we'll assume the key guy(s) who got hurt are going to again)
  • The impact of new coaches is zero (why do we pay these guys again?)
  • The impact of new schemes is zero (I really don't understand why these guys work themselves to death / divorce given how little that work seems to change my rankings)
  • The impact of key players getting older on *good* teams is zero. The impact of players getting older on *bad* teams is, well, bad
  • Cinderella teams and players get to keep their slipper and play just as good this year
  • And since I don't have a lot of time (let's face it, this ranking isn't worth much time), I'm judging things as if the teams play the same schedule as last year

Ok, here we go.....

Lol at the Redskins at 15. They’ll be 3-13 if they’re lucky.

I can see even if we have 5 games against his 30,31 and 32 teams. He’s probably one of the so called experts that thought Cuttler was a upgrade at QB last year. So now we have regressed getting Ryan back. Then there is that outside chance hurricane Big Bad Bertha will make a beeline for Joe Robby. While missing the rest of the state and knocking it to the ground. So we lose the bye week, plus play 16 road games. Dame he should have us at 32 with all that happening.

I'll be the first to admit that given our record the last 20 years we don't deserve much respect, but that ranking seems a little harsh.

I have so much optimism about the fins this year. Even losing Suh and Landry I’m still super pumped about this season. I feel like our offense will produce big numbers.
