Another Ranking...

I think the ranking is fair, we have questions in the secoundary I think we are good there but it's an unknown right now

I guess its right were we belong right now....we'll go up the board

Man I am so sick of all the analysts giving the pats the verbal bj.

I can agree with that. Rankings are nice to see, but don't really mean anything anyways so I'm not going to say much. It's nice to see that we're getting recognition though.

Did you notice the last paragraph of the article?

Anyway, on to the rankings, which we're sure will look completely different after Week 1.

I'm thinking if we beat Pittsburgh, we should be in the top 3. We are no longer flying under the radar guys. This team is for real!

EDIT: Notice another thing, look at some of the bottom teams then look at our schedule. Half of our games are against 24 and below. 2 with NY, 2 with Buffalo, Houston, Tennessee, Green Bay and Detroit.

Flip the script a little bit, 5 games against the top 12. Pittsburgh, Indianapolis, New England 2 times and Jacksonville.

So I think the schedule is on our side this year.

I don't put much stock in preseason rankings... It is only based on speculations. The real rankings begin when they are actually playing football games...

i agree completely, but until they are unseated, they'll continue to get it. i have a feeling though that with the team we have and the coaching staff we have in place, we will be the receiving end of many a "bj's" in the future.:rawk:

good point. hope we can capitalize on having an "easier" sched. last year's was brutal. didn't the teams we played last year have the highest combined win percentage nfl-wide at the beginning of the season (from 2004)? we still did pretty good, so this upcoming season looks even more promising.:dolphins:

Yeah at the start it was tough but became a lot weaker as the season went on. The Bills and the Jets were both good in 2004 and very bad in 2005. We also had Oakland, Cleveland and New Orleans.

But they were beaten by the Broncos. But instead of giving Denver their due, analysts pulled every reason out their ***** to why the Patriots lost.
