Jacoby Jones from the Texans has been released. I definitely think he is worth a look. I've liked this guy ever since he was drafted.
 
I just want to say this and will probly say it again. Philbin will not be into free agency all that much. GB philosophy was to draft good players, and keep good players, so all that money we will have to spend will be for players worth keeping.
 
Although this guy has all world Talent theres obviously something is missing when you get cut by a team that has 1 WR.
 
There's no reason this guy can't be brought in to compete. He is certainly better than Naanee and I think he fits our system pretty well.
 
hes a pretty good reviver, maybe its money related wy he got released, hesd be a great addition to our wr group

Did you guys look at our money, we don't have enough to sign our draft class, we will need to free up 377,000, we can sign FA to minimum contract that don't count against the cap or top 53, I don't know what these FA's will want, you would think the minimum, but you don't know.. I don't know if we don't have the Marshall replacement already on the team, no one got a chance the last two years with Marshall here, I'm excited to see who can step up...
 
I believe we will be fine with our WRs.......We need 1 speedster (Gates), a few guys that run great routes and are not afraid of slants (Bess, Cunningham, Matthews, Hartline), and a couple that can go up and get it in the red-zone/endzone (Cunningham, Matthews, Wallace). That puts our WRs that make the team at 1. Bess 2. Hartline 3. Cunningham 4. Gates 5. Wallace / Matthews.
 
I tend to think that Marlon Moore beats out Matthews for the last spot. Can't have only 1 speed guy (Gates) on the team. Need a 2nd guy that the defense has to respect deep plus Moore is pretty good on special teams.
 
Wait a minute... everyone starts yelling NO WAY JABAR GAFFNEY IS TERRIBLE and yet they want Jacoby Jones? Gaffney is cheaper and twice the WR that Jones is... Good lord FH it's like you're being ironically terrible about this whole thing.
