Im a big Ricky fan, and dont want to see him traded because of the tremendous value he offers us (when he plays). I do not think we would be able to replace him with anyone... particularly becuase he owes the Dolphins so much money and is playing for alot less than normal. (compared to what he was being payed before he left last year)

So with this in mind... it brings up my question. If Saban traded him for a really high/good pick, would the team that he would be traded to be owed the 8 million something dollars he now owes to the Dolphins?

If so... I would imagine alot of teams wanting him... if he wins his appeal.

they would inherit the contract as is, unless they restructure it which they probably would. and therfore it cannot be in any new clause due to the CBA.

more than likely the deal would come with a NEW contract. Ricky's agent and the team would come to some NEW agreement.
